    Car seats in 5bw

I don't have a CT5 BW but...In my CT4 BW I have two forward facing car seats. My wife and I are 5'2" and 5'7" respectively with more than enough front seat room. Given the CT5 is bigger wheelbase and large back seats, I think you'll be just fine.

CT4-V What Don't You Like About Your CT4-V Blackwing

May have been mentioned before, but I very much hate the proximity passive entry system. When you approach the car it senses the key fob. You have to press the silver button on the door handle to unlock the car, THEN pull the handle to open the door. If you don't hit the silver button you...

    Blackwings and Booze Thread

Tequila lover chiming in here. El Tesoro, Forteleza, Amor Mio, Don Fullano, etc. I sip on good blanco's or anejo's especially when doing my model building projects.

Rear Splash/Rock Guard Installation on CT5 BW

Interested in these; the ones I bought from Amazon for $30 are annoying me as they seem to pocket snow instead of letting it slide off. Any close up images of how they are installed? Original hardware uses? Not sure how I feel about double sided tape holding up to Michigan snow/winters...

CT4-V Rear Splash/Rock Guard Installation on CT4 BW with Picture

Rear splash guards holding up to Michigan winter's well, helps keep the rear lower bumper clean too. I purchased mine from Amazon, used the rear set only (front didn't fit anyway). Relatively inexpensive at $30-40, and easy install. I say go for it.

Tapout CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber Intake Test Results

So a question for Tapout: I'm seriously contemplating purchasing this intake. I'm mildly handy, have basic tools at home, but by no means a mechanic. Do you have any install videos or list of tools required for someone like me to install this at home? Appreciate the advice. Christopher

    Winter Wheels and Tires

Yes the 255/35/18 square Blizzaks fit stock wheels no rubbing, no issues whatsoever. Go to TireRack website for ordering. Not sure if they still have them in stock; I ordered back in September. If needed, contact Taggart at TireRack, awesome guy, super knowledgeable. He can help you. If you...

    Winter Wheels and Tires

Yes it was $30 each wheel/tire. I ended up having them swap my OEM Caddy whees/tires onto my Forged One Competition wheels/ snow tires. Long story short bought the forged wheels and snow tires and liked the wheels so much I choose to keep them for summer and the Caddy wheels for winter. Total...

Tapout CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber Intake Test Results

So...I don't need this but now I'm interested. Looks like straight forward install, reversible, and no tuning required? I'm down to get one of these when available next year. How do I get on the waitlist for this? Also, any videos to hear what it wounds like with an otherwise stock vehicle...

considering CT4-BW as a daily? a few questions

So for everyday driving I run "My Mode" which is pretty much everything in comfort/touring mode but the loudest exhaust settings. This is for dry, cold road conditions. When it's actually snowed (only a few times so far) or been icy, I have used the snow/ice settings and it has worked well...

    Aftermarket wheels

Any idea of how they come up with widths/offsets? I had my car scanned at TireRack to confirm fitment; just wondering how they do it since nothing is listed on their website for CT4/5 Blackwings.

considering CT4-BW as a daily? a few questions

I'll chime in. I live in Michigan, have a CT4V BW. Daily driven through all four seasons. I've driving multiple BMW M3's in Michigan winters without any issues. The Caddy has held up well this season already, with snow tires mind you, and would not hessitate to drive one in the winter. Back...

    Ridiculous Ideas Thread

Am I the only one here that would be very content with a non supercharged version of the V8 from the CT5 BW and put in the CT4BW? To me that would be near perfect and reminiscent of the original CTS-V cars.

    Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

I believe the +45mm offset would poke 5mm less curb side. Try this website to visualize it easier. I don't think anyone on the forums has had aftermarket wheels for long enough to know all the combinations that will/will not work; we're all new to this! https://www.willtheyfit.com/

    Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

Doing a little of research, you could fun a 265/30/19 on that 19x9 +21 wheel; it'll given you 7mm more clearance inside the fender, and poke out 7mm more curb side. This is doable, my current wheels poke out 8mm front with no clearance issues. Regarding the rear 285/30/19 on a 19x10+40 wheel...

Good point!, why keep going if one is already damaged.

Dealer F up. What would you do?

If you can post some pictures that would be great. Regarding repair/replacement, if light scratches then yes painting/powder coating may be reasonable. But if significant damage I would hold the dealership accountable for replacement parts as it happened on their time/location, not that you...
