What are you all paying for insurance?

~3500/yr with USAA, but that's for 6 cars(3 w/full coverage) and a valuable personal property policy too.

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

Seems reasonable. The pdr is probably one of the more important options if you plan to track the car. Other stuff is all pretty standard. However the cf1 may be tricky to get. Depends on constraints and allocations available. Not impossible though.

4Bw IMSA Edition-Decals, keep or remove?

I would say, if you can get replacement decals, do it. Keep them stored safe and flat and well taken care of so that if/when you sell the car, you can give them to the new owner and they can decide to put then on again, or toss em.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

I actually used my Cadillac umbrella from my door pocket that my wife got me. A lot of people actually had umbrellas but just one Amphibicar. The Huracan Evo pulled in right before the first round of light rain. His wife and dog came in the FF.

Newbie question: no crackles/pops on CT5V BW?

I have 3 projects, one I haven't touched for 3 years, one for 10 years, and 1 for 23 years. That's why I love my BW, no work needed, just drive and enjoy. And yes, Global B refers to the encryption of the current computer systems since so many systems are now "drive by wire".

Newbie question: no crackles/pops on CT5V BW?

Since Global B was only recently cracked, It should be safe to say that no one has attempted a popcorn free tune yet. Maybe it is possible through tuning trial and error though, just a matter of time.

Newbie question: no crackles/pops on CT5V BW?

Cold starts will always be a little noisy I believe, but you could switch the v mode or MyMode and set the exhaust to "stealth" or "0" setting. Its not 100% rolls royce quiet, but much much less than track and/or full open which is, I think, setting "4". And then in vmode/mymode you can turn...

    Picked up a CT5-V yesterday

The base of the car says blackwing which is incorrect. The black one does at least have nicer wheels than the red version.

    2024 MY Cadillac CT4-V / CT5-V Blackwing - What's New!

Front lighting looks somewhat better than the previous "facelift" spyshots. But I'm more interested in what's going on at the back of the car... Is it correct to assume those tailpipe extensions are for easy/quick connection to emissions testing equipment? What are those 2 red...
