Not too surprising. My lower b pillar trim is barely holding on and has at least 2 bent/broken clips. Eventually I'll buy a new replacement for it just to have.

Yea the autos were the using paddle shifters to go from like 4th through 7th or so. They kept busy. I felt I would have been more distracted in an auto. For us manual guys it was 3rd and 4th, 2nd was up to us in one or 2 places but after a few laps, I just stayed in 3rd through those areas.

Body does look to be a first gen cts and it almost looks like a european side fender marker light and then they moved the V logo lower onto the door like the sts-v placement. Here's a better version of the pic. Does seem to be a 1st gen V, especially since it has the 6 lug wheels. Just not sure...

My '05 CTS-V also had the "turn signal on" alert feature which would come up on the radio display. The first time it happened I thought it was hysterical, but the second time, it made me feel old.
