Yup, it figures time into it. Mines due for its second oil change at only about 3800 miles. I did it last april. My mothers '17 cts wants an oil change yearly too, and that just hit 20k miles.

I think ct5bw pre-production used a 6 instead of 8, and pre-production ct4bws used a 2 instead of 4.

I believe cars built around mid December 2022 and later got the badge from the factory. That's around when the first round of shipments went out to 2022 owners who requested the blackwing badge.
