Did you do or are doing V academy

When I've visited Spring Mountain I've always hoped for a couple of hours of rain; you learn way more in the wet than the dry.

Precision Package Owners - How is it?

Some points I've picked up: Order status is key: at 1100 you're just an "order in the system" waiting for an allocation. I believe constraints apply to specific allocations (so dealers know if advance if a specific allocation will "work" with a specific order) dealers lose any allocations they...

CT5-V Dumb Question: Lug Nut Part Number?

A single 85553528 weighs 93 grams (3.3 oz) on my kitchen scale.

CT5-V Dumb Question: Lug Nut Part Number?

I agree about buying OEM but disagree about ebay; I've bought plenty of genuine GM parts there. If the lug nut I got is a fake, it's a really good fake.

2025 Surround Vision Recorder switched to USB?

If it's USB-A, you could use a sd or microsd card with one of these:

2025 Surround Vision Recorder switched to USB?

I see at least one report that the 2025 SVR uses USB instead of an SD card. Can anybody confirm/deny? (A picture would be a bonus!)

CT5-V 2025 CT5 Blackwings - have your dealer check oil plug on the front of the engine (Service Bulletin attached)

After looking at the top view of the oil pan, I think the hole is machined as part of the oil pump pickup circuit.

    Track rats rejoice!

I just ran across service bulletin 24-NA-267, which applies to RPO Q2Y (Cup 2 R) tires:

CT5-V Dumb Question: Lug Nut Part Number?

The last time I used wheel locks was back when I had a 2000 SS Camaro. And it didn't take time for me to ditch them. Plus I have a garage to park my toys in... (I guess I might reconsider if I had carbon fiber or titanium wheels!)

CT5-V Dumb Question: Lug Nut Part Number?

I been researching this and found something interesting about the OEM lug nuts I wasn't expecting; they're not the stupid sheet metal-wrapped lug nuts like my C6 Z06 came with. I put McGard 64012 (M12 x 1.5) on my Z06 and they're great. Meanwhile I'm getting Satin Graphite wheels on my 5BW and...

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

12707563 was what I found for the 2022. I took another run at searching for LT4 oil pan images and found 12732265: Looking at the top down view (without the windage tray) it might be needed to machine an oil pump passage.

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

What is a "oil cup plug"? I believe the LT4 oil pan used on the blackwing is GM 12707563 but I haven't been able to find any pictures.

Jack Cooper Transport going out of business after almost 100 years

The way I read it, Ford fired JCT and then later JCT quit GM. It also sounds like this industry this industry is not as profitable as it once was. This reminds me of the whole carbon fiber supplier fiasco.

Jack Cooper Transport going out of business after almost 100 years

Looking at their website it sure sounds like they do/did a lot more than "finished vehicle transportation" for only Ford and GM... Here's an interesting article about the industry: Auto Haulers Eye Initial Jack Cooper Tailwind in Weak Market Also: That makes it sound like JCT folded...
