I haven't really talked about price yet. They mentioned I can $1000 if I finance through GM. I then asked about the Costco discount. I'm trying to find a realistic price, but there are limited details. Also, this isn't a car on the lots. It's ordered, but should be delivered in a few days.
Some of these timelines make no sense. I ordered a truck (Ram) about 10 years ago and it took about 8 weeks total. This was order entry, build, shipped, and delivered. It was produced in Michigan and delivered to Texas in 2 months. The shipping portion shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks.
Inventory for what I want has been nearly impossible. I was looking at inventory for a 2024 starting in May. I haven't seen one with 6MT and Coastal Blue.
I have three on order right now. One is a high volume (Sewell) and another was mentioned by someone on this forum (both are in Dallas). The third is my local dealer.
I think allocation is the key. I have orders with three dealers. I haven't seen any of them get to the GM acceptance level. Last dealer said to plan for late December or early January.
