It can happen anywhere. Some areas are better than others. It seems that downtown and east of Austin can be worse. There were a lot of catalytic converter thefts at the Austin airport over the past months. I live west of the city and we get people that go through unlocked cars in our neighborhood.
If it wasn't for this forum, I'd think my car was lost or damaged. Every week the ETA changes. Last week ETA was 12/2 - 12/5. Today it's 12/8-12/11. As far as I can tell, the car is still in the Lansing lot.
I wish I could help, but I don't have the car yet. I have been researching the setup. It looks like there could be 3 options.
Depin the ANC microphones (hard to find the tool).
Check with LLJ customs to see if one of their bypass harnesses will work with the 4BW (probably the easiest).
Possibly...
There's a mention in another thread that the 4BW doesn't have ANC. Not sure if it's valid.

My 4BW has been sitting at the shipping lot since at least November 2nd. Dealer notified me then, but it could have been at the lot earlier. It shows on On Hold now.
I don't have the car yet, but I saw that no one has responded. It sounds like a grounding issue. I would check your ground and all wire connections. Any non-ground wires touching the metal of the car could cause it.
Thanks. I ordered the LC2i today. I have an Audiofrog GB10D2 that I was running off a Rockford 225.2 (450w). I'm thinking about getting a Rockford P1000X1bd to power it.
Now I just need to get the car :).
My status keeps jumping around on delivery. Last week the dealer mentioned it would come in on Friday or Saturday (8 or 9th). Monday, I was told 11/12. Today, the status went to On Hold. It's at the autoport at Delta waiting to be picked up (in Michigan).
My current thought is more around being local for warranty issues. It looks like the dealer in Arlington subs this out to an actual shop. They use this place: Custom Koncepts Fort Worth's Premiere Window Tinting & Ceramic Coating
Did anyone get PPF on their car before picking it up? I'm in the debate now. I have a local quote, but I need to drive the car back from Dallas to Austin. My current car shows a lot of chips on the front bumper, most of which are from I35 (between Dallas and Austin). The dealer has a local shop...
Just got my deposit back at my local. While they were "working on", they wanted to show me a 2023 5BW. So I took it for a test drive. A ton of power, but the clutch is really heavy compared to the 4BW.
