Dash cam (for us without PDR)

I went with a VIOFO as well (A119 mini 2). I hardwired it to the fuse box at same time as my radar detector.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

A couple of grocery getters today. At HEB. First time seeing this black Blackwing.

Amazon (ZL1 Style) Jack Pad on CT4

I'm thinking that the tall rubber block would work best in the back over the suspension cradle.

Amazon (ZL1 Style) Jack Pad on CT4

I just received a Quickjack last week. I plan to put the Amazon ZL1 jack pads on the front. Not sure on the back. It looks like you could just use the rubber block across the rear bracket. Anyone else using the Quickjack?

    PPF Recommendations

Has anyone had PPF on a car for 10+ years? I have concern about the longevity and what it would do to the clearcoat underneath. I had my last car for 22 years and the only area I wished I did PPF was the front bumper. You could see where rocks had hit it over the years (not really chips). I have...

    Subwoofer Install

Do you have your back seat folded down? Everything is stock on my car, but I noticed some weird reverbs with one of the back seats folded down.

    Break in 6MT fluid change

Did you need to drain the 8oz of fluid? On my previous car, I wasn't a big fan of being under the car on four jack stands. I didn't need to start it, since the fill procedure was very simple (drain and fill until comes out the fill plug).

    CT4-V FLOOR JACK LIFT GUIDE - 4BW

Anyone using the Quickjack 7000TLX on their 4BW? I'd like to use it on my wife's SUV and my truck. The extra capacity would be needed.

    Break in 6MT fluid change

My concern is running the engine on jack stands. More around vibration and stability. I've been thinking about getting wheel cribs or quickjacks.

    Break in 6MT fluid change

How do you lift the car? My concern would be running the car off the ground.

    Break in 6MT fluid change

Did you do the step where you run the engine and then recheck the level?

    Spring Mountain Impressions

Any idea on when they open open up dates? Are they released on a set interval? The website only shows dates through the end of August.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

How long do you have to sign up after you purchase the car? Does it expire?

    Break in 6MT fluid change

If so, I would think you would then need to fill it full and drain the 8oz after you run the engine.

    Break in 6MT fluid change

This is interesting, "13. Run the engine in Neutral for two minutes to allow the fluid to recirculate." It's a gearbox, I've never done anything like this when changing the transmission fluid on my previous 6MT.

    Break in 6MT fluid change

I started to research the fluid for the 6MT in the 4BW. It looks like the "Manual Transmission Fluid" (88861800) is actually Dexron III. Which is an older ATF fluid. transmission oil type Z06 ?? DEXRONIII OR THIS P# 88861800 - CorvetteForum - Chevrolet Corvette Forum Discussion I still see...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Be careful with Discount Tire. If they can plug it without taking it off the rim, then it should be fine. They tend to tear up rims with lower profile tires when they mount tires.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Have you tested it yet? With the Blendmount and R4, I'm having GPS sync issues. I just ordered an additional link to get it closer to the windshield.

Amazon (ZL1 Style) Jack Pad on CT4

Why didn't you use the factory cut out in the rear? Was it for better placement of the Quickjack? It looks like they should fit on the rear.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Any reason you didn't let the dealer do the first change? If it's included I let them do the first one, since the filter is always tight.
