There isn't really a good jack and jack stand solution for the car. If you use the recommended jack point, you don't have a place to put a stand. I looked at wheel cribs and RennStand as options. I ended just biting the bullet and getting the QuickJack.

Yes, ethanol is bad with moisture. I had some issues with a boat after I couldn't find non-ethanol gas in the area. It was fuel pump related. That being said, modern vehicles shouldn't have an issue. Sta-bil makes a marine version geared toward ethanol.

This is for the LF4, so might not help you. I checked my oil level at 400 and 800. It was right at full both times. I got it changed around 870 miles.

It looks like the Mobil 1 Extended Performance is thinner than the regular Mobil 1 (10.15 vs 10.8). Have you tried both? I feel like a thicker oil would be better.

Did your oil pressure go up as you got miles on the car? I'm around 16-17 PSI at idle. I saw 15 for a second yesterday. I do have only 1000 miles on the car. The oil was changed about 100 miles ago.

I'm surprised at how long it takes to get the OEM tires to the "Normal" temp on the dash. The ambient temp is 90 today it took 8-10 miles to go from "Cool" to "Normal".
