Is this related to the GM 6.2l issues in the trucks?

My wife's SUV has a very similar cruise. I have only used it on long straight highway stretches. It's good when you want to eat and drive :). Other than that, I typically like to be in control.
I was thinking something similar. I don't own either at this point. The M3 needs two modifications right at purchase (front grill and oil cooler cover). I haven't found anything needed for the 4BW.
A utility vehicle is nice to have. I mean it weighs almost as much as a half ton truck. Might as well have some hauling capability.
Full transparency, I drive a half ton 4 door truck 50% of the time.
I think you got it right "cruising". The M3 and M5 are good highway cruising cars. Fast, but feel like big long cars. Driving the M3 felt heavy, I can't imagine what the M5 feels like.
There was information added earlier about both. I thought I would add on. My salesperson did say the CT5 was open, but I think he that's non-blackwing.
I mentioned in another thread, but 2025 4BWs are showing up with delivery dates on the Cadillac inventory. I just texted the salesperson locally and he thinks the orders are open. I asked for ordering options.
It looks like the 2025 4BW will start to come on lots on Monday. I saw a total of 13 available within 2000 miles of me. Some have dealer delivery dates.
I'm having the same problem, finding what I want on a lot. I have three requirements and I can't find a single 4BW within 2000 miles (6MT, Coastal Blue, Jet Black mini-perforated). I look everyday, but will probably need to order a 25 model.
The 13k was on a non special edition mentioned here a couple of weeks ago. It had both carbon options. Someone mentioned 20k off a special edition, but I can't verify it.
It looks like you can get between $3-13k off of something that is sitting on a lot now. Most car dealers have a profit margin. I'm sure it depends on the options.
Anyone negotiate on an order? I realize there's not much leverage with an order, just curious if they move at all on price. The 4BWs at my dealer have been on the lot for a while.
I was able to get $10k off of my truck when I ordered it.
I test drove an A10 and 6MT 4BW at my local dealer. The salesperson said to keep the engine under 4.5k. He also let it warm up first. It would have been nice to drive a used model to see the upper end of the engine.
I could fit in the back seat. This will be a third vehicle for me, just want to make sure kids can get in the back. I typically haul them around in a 4 door truck. On occasion I will have them in the back seat for short trips (under 10 miles).
How was the back seat too small? I took my 11 year old son with me when I test drove the 4BW. He said everything was fine in the back seat. I plan to get one without a moonroof, headroom could be an issue in the future.
I saw your post over at bimmerpost. I'm in a similar situation, but with a 4BW and M3. I can't find the color of 4BW with 6MT available within 2000 miles. If I go with the M3, I'd get the auto (wife doesn't drive manual). BMW keeps asking for a deposit to get on the 25 M3 waitlist.
