Had a very interesting conversation with a friend today. He is going to SEMA in two weeks to promote a new technology for mass production of CF parts. This technology is currently being used to produce laptop computer shells.
Basically, they produce CF tiles. The tiles are imported in bulk...
May be true but it does not make it right. Why have a customer service section on the Cadillac website. Should it be "dealer service"?
In the computer industry we do not ship a new product until all the spares inventory sites are stocked. If spares are depleted the new assemblies...
Does anyone have any specific information regarding last year of 4/5BW production? Will 23 be the last year or will these beasts continue to be built for another couple years?
Congratulations. Seems really odd the part was not prioritized to fix a customer car vs new production. That's a very questionable customer service strategy.
Great to know. I've always gotten really good mpg on my manual transmission v-8 cars on the highway. Love SC! Started looking at houses in Beaufort last year. Hope to relocate there soon. Although, I won't drive it much. Sold my SS sedan 6m with 6m at 6.2k miles back in Aug. Sad day...
To clarify... SS sedan 6m. Did not think about surround vision. Yes. I did get the parking package. Should make it much easier as long as the display and resolution are good. Camera and the display on the SS were not good, especially in low light.
At least you did not get the shipment with an empty package inside. I ordered some hub centric rings a couple weeks ago. Opened the box and the package was empty. Seeing articles about potential worker walkouts/strikes for prime day. That would be a mess.
