It’s super annoying because the X close box in the upper RH side seems to be need to be touched twice to get it to close.

So it seems to exist, haven’t really tested. Enter Track mode, press traction control button twice and then twist the selector knob past the last PTM mode. It won’t show anything in the RH side anymore but down in the bottom there’s a new icon. Looks like this:
