    Am I crazy?

As fun as the older bmws can be, just make sure you’re ok going back to an older car like e36 M3…sometimes old memories are different than reality of driving a 30 year old car. Having said that, I do love that car especially the LTW variant.

Wow…2 CT5-V Blackwings in garage is a good problem to have…love the sparkle on BDT!

Sorry to hear this…I was hoping coastal blue was immune. Did you put on all 21k miles?

CT5-V Might be selling my BW - any interest on here?

The R8 looks awesome especially in that spec and with a bonus Akrapovic exhaust. I’ve had a gen 1 R8 manual v10 for a decade now…you will love it!

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

I also vote for the 24 model. I have one similar to the one you listed minus sunroof. For me, the added options add to the experience of the car, especially the top tier seats and ceramic brakes. I also want a car I like the aesthetics of, and the older front end still looks more aggressive...

[Now Available] AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

Do you think for the future ct5-v blackwing exhaust can the oem tips be retained? Maybe too early to know since R&D stage but thought I’d influence R&D or at least have those tips as an option to customers if desired. Thanks!

    Engine Failure

I think he paid a few thousand over msrp so maybe the dealer recognized that with their kind heart.

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

I’m gonna call and offer $10k less for selling a used blackwing as new.

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

I wouldn’t buy a new blackwing with 92 miles. That dealer will experience karma when it sits for months as a “used” car.

    The Wave Metallic thread

I like both wave and coastal…mine happens to be coastal but I would have been happy with either 😉

    Badge removal/replacement

I think the black badges will look nice on the green. I did all of the badges and emblems from savage and 404parts.

5BW Most Comfortable Daily/Long Trip Seats

I love the higher tier semi aniline seats…have other cars and SUVs, and they are my favorite, most comfortable for me, even longer drives

Precision Package Owners - How is it?

Agree. I ordered a loaded up 24 blackwing at msrp with cf1/cf2, carbon seats, ceramic brakes, manual, etc from an out of state higher volume Michigan dealer…order in system 6/23, allocation assigned in 7/23, delivered 12/23. It can happen quickly. My previous order for a 2023 model never...

That’s great…solid gains. No check engine light or error codes?

    Tire/wheel (basic) question

Personally, I would get the 20” wheels and tires to get the look you desire plus the wheels will look killer on the car. The problem with lowering springs at older age is getting in and out of a lower vehicle as well as increased potential to scrape carbon fiber splitter. Just my $0.02.

    Help! Whaddup y’all any tips?

That spec sounds perfect. Green on black/tan seats with a manual and CF1. Great find! I think you gotta find some of the factory bronze wheels as it will go so well with that color scheme. I have them on my coastal blue and it goes well together. Definitely sign up for spring mountain class...

    Help! Whaddup y’all any tips?

Given your past car history, I think you’re really going to enjoy the blackwing! What color, 6MT or auto, and any specific options you had to have? It’s gonna be a fun week for you. As for tips, are you planning any window tint or PPF?

    Brutal Winter Car

Yesh unfortunately in Chicago you need an AWD car for those days with heavier snow (not as bad past few years though) and the RS4 with a manual transmission and V8 with 8250 rpm rev limit makes the winter commute enjoyable. It’s 17 years old but has held up pretty well despite many winters. In...
