I did test drive my 4BW. Got lucky when a guy backed out of his order and went with a 5BW. I happened to be there when it came off the truck. I did not test drive my 2023 C8.
I worked paint repair at GM Arlington for years and never saw anything like that. Anything approaching that would have been sanded down to primer and repainted. Hope GM makes it right.
Zl1addons has these for the ct4-v. Will they fit our 4BW?

I'd be very interested if they come up with some rears that match the fronts. It is surprising GM didn't include guards front and rear. You'd think if for some reason only one pair was warranted it'd be the rear. But who am I? 😀
These look pretty good. When you compare the oem fronts to these rears are they close in terms of fit and texture of the plastic? Do the rears look like they could be oem? Looks like there is a bit of a gap between the guard and fender in that pic. Maybe just a shadow?
I can understand your reservations. I'm sure he knows he may lose a little business because of that. But his reputation and the hundreds if not thousands of very happy customers driving high end cars will more than make up for that. As I said, I was familiar with Aerolarri from my C8 days...
I went with stock size. 18x9 and 18x9.5. Aerolarri does not make public their offsets, you can go with stock offset or close to flush. Here's how Chet responded when I asked him about my wheels and offsets in general ....
“You got slightly more flush than stock offsets. Exactly the same...
There are much cheaper options going down to cutting your own from "gutter guard" from Home Depot and securing it with black zip ties at the corners. Lots of the C8 guys were doing that. A step up would be ordering grill mesh sheets from one of the grill protection companies and cutting your...
Yep, I almost ordered a set for my C8 before I decided to go with a Blackwing. Lots of very happy C8 owners. Here's the exact style and finish I ordered for my 4BW. Probably a month away.
Perhaps a question better left to Aerolarri. He is very responsive to emails. I do know his focus has been on C8's and a few Ferraris so no mention of other vehicles.
I am getting stock size. He said for the 4bw he could go up to 19's. For the 5bw he had to go 20's. The 5bw's apparently were the big limitation. All models could be made for blackwings.
Thought I'd plug Aerolarri wheels here. First, I have no connection other than I have ordered from him for my BW and I was already familiar from them being being one of the most popular wheels for the C8.
They are a true forged wheel made to order. Great prices. Many styles and finishes...
