    CT5 BW Rev Match

I installed the update on Saturday ( the one for the daytime running lights staying on ) and now the blips are gone when hitting neutral while downshifting.....

    Trade for this?

Well.....I know everyone's opinion is different, but to me the back end of the C8 is hideous. As much as I like corvettes and have had 3 of them, no way I would want a new one. And no manual? Blackwing hands down the winner.....

The one real flaw of Midnight Steel Metallic ....

Wait...you have a known leak and you left it outside with no kind of cover whatsoever?

    Unwanted Rev Match

Agreed....I avoid the dealer as much as I can....now if I can just figure out how to replace my cracked front camera lens.....

    Unwanted Rev Match

Still trying to figure out how this is a bad thing....I don't use rev-match that often, but still get the situation you described on downshifts. I like it.

    Entry and Exit Seat Memory??

Yep, had the same issue until I figured out it was the wrong fob that was the culprit. Once I matched up the correct fob with the set functions, all was well.

    CT5-V Front camera lens cracked

Took a direct hit from something and the lens is cracked. Any thoughts on difficulty of replacing this? I haven't researched the cost of the lens either. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

I live in the same area as you, and I haven't gotten stopped yet for no front plate. I drove a 2011 vette and didn't get stopped with that one either. I would have to really re-evaluate things if it started happening, but for now, the plate stays off...

    Topping off while fueling

Yes, been doing that since day one, no issues at all.

    Topping off while fueling

I always top mine off...the tank is so dad gum small, I need to squeeze all I can out of it.

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

Be advised...if you have never worn the Hans helmet/neck restraint system, be prepared to adjust to it. I could never get comfortable with having my neck so restrained, and it actually made me quite dizzy going around the track. I'm sure it's not that much of a deal with most people, but it was...

    Refundable deposit shenanigans

I have to concur....Sewell/Houston is where I bought mine and they were top-notch.

    Sueded microfiber steering wheel

Yeah, I'm not a fan either...had on on my 2011 vette, and the novelty of it wore off pretty quick.

    Refundable deposit shenanigans

So did most of you guys put down a deposit when you ordered? I didn't....the dealership didn't ask and I didn't offer.....

CT4-V Windshield Replacement Woes (Don't be like Me)

I had a similar experience with Safelite on my 2019 V...their customer service with me was terrible...all I wanted to do was talk to someone live, nope, not going to happen. I finally just ordered the windshield from Cadillac and had them install it. Doubtful that I would use Safelite in the future.

Anyone get their Blackwing badge yet? And are you putting it on?

They should be arriving soon...still on the fence if mine goes on or not.

288 Miles and an engine failure

Years ago when the first C6 Z06 LS7 engines were grenading, everyone wanted to know who built the engine (they also had builder ID tags). As we know now, the heads had the issue, didn't matter who assembled it. We will have to wait and see on this one....

CT5-V AFM for manual CT5-V Blackwing

I had the AFM on my CTS-V and couldn't stand it. Cruising down the road at 70, slow down or speed up, it would instantly go from V8 to V4, back and forth. I don't know how this is good for the engine. I got the Range module and eliminated it...I don't think my fuel economy suffered at ALL. So...
