I'd be happy with an upgraded LT4 AND a concerted effort to get the weight down to just under 4,000 lbs. It would awesome to have a standard weight starting with a 3 when too many are close to or over 5,000!
If you can leave your car outside overnight, you will catch up on OTA updates (it's been awhile but if my memory serves, anytime outside for more than 90 mins will do).
I found that if I forced myself to use it for a couple of days I adjusted quite well (started with the V3 CTS-V so I have over 100k miles with it now and I'll be er go back - no blind spots, ability to zoom, etc..)
I have a '22 so no built in, just phone projection. Like I said, phone projection on our older BMW integrates turn instructions in the HUD but not on the BW. A minor nit.
Occam's razor - start simple meaning battery failure (due to age) before alternator. My 5BW is throwing codes now 100% consistent with needing a battery after 4 years.
I had a chart from Spring Mountain that shows the differences in stability control by PTM mode but I can't find it. Does anybody have a version they can post?
I simply drive in Track on the street and on the track for a very consistent experience. It's even fine in chillier rain periods since I know better than to push the car hard in those scenarios. Once it dips below the low 40s I drive something else and I know my track season is over here in...
Any chance another shop or you have ever removed the wheels that the dealer would be aware of? If so, there's a small chance they think the issue is that over tightening of lugs caused the problem. That said, I'm going with pad deposits. I wasn't able to complete the craze burnishing...
The manual take rate will put it at just under 5k units but they're still making more. Unless you're planning to not drive it for decades, it's a poor option for a collectible from a financial return perspective. It's not exclusive enough to be frank. A high end Porsche built in similar or...
Wow, glad you're OK though. That's the most important part. FWIW, I don't think these cars are going to be that collectible. There's over 10k of them in the road and growing and with EV-only focus waning, it's only a matter of time before GM announces a hybrid or maybe even ICE (I can dream...
I ironically, I call my car and the V3 before it the, "Cock Magnet". I've never had so many dudes want to talk or compliment my M3 or any other car. It's always dudes. Good thing I'm married because this car would not help a single straight guy (I'm guessing that requires a Porsche or up if...
Maybe find a pro who can do it on the side? Either way, definitely keep something that minor off the history report even if it means doing it yourself.
