    Really: Oscar Mike. Finally.

    Dogs/Pets

These were tricky: holding the iPhone w/my left hand, throwing the ball, and trying to take the snap with my right. Each shot is right before Hercules caught the ball off the bounce.

CT5-V Finally: CT5-V Blackwing Reproduction Spoilers

A thing arrived today. My garage has shitty lighting, so the photo isn't great. But it's here and it actually does look fantastic in person. Thanks @Terrance Sig! Now to get the car to put it on...

So is GMA, by those that don't know any better. ;-)

CT5-V Finally: CT5-V Blackwing Reproduction Spoilers

If UPS is to be believed, mine will actually be here by Wednesday this week. And it will, in fact, beat my 5BW which is still sitting at the train station in Michigan.

    2024 CT4 & CT5 BW Order Guide available now

They probably sourced their information from GM (not an) Authority. Wouldn't doubt it, in fact.

    2024 CT4 & CT5 BW Order Guide available now

The only place he got his information from is the same place you might have: GM (not an) Authority. While we still don't know the specifics on what's changing, and there could very well be... the sales folk don't know, either.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

Once again, my warning is to not listen to the SM instructors when it comes specifically to the engineering and technical aspects of the cars. They don't know what they're talking about. Very clearly. NLS is fine for the engine; GM's lawyers wouldn't have let them put it into the car...

CT5-V Finally: CT5-V Blackwing Reproduction Spoilers

Ever have a car go light in the front end while you're doing +140MPH? I have. It's a very unsettling feeling.

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2023 Model Year

Here's more comedy: my sales guy says he sees my order as status 4300. And yet it's still sitting in that Michigan autoport waiting for its train ride. Unless it was "intermediately" delivered to the train station and that's what they mean.

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2023 Model Year

@Rob 4B00 is Bayed, not Delayed, right? You've got my status as 4B00 but Delayed. And I know it's physically sitting at the autoport in Lansing, lined up to be loaded onto a train car.

    Break In Poll

You didn't answer my question. Track driving and street driving have two different break-ins: 1500 and 500 miles each, respectively. So which is it?

    Break In Poll

What do you mean "drive it without restrictions"? Does that include the race track?

    Carbon Ceramic replacement cost

There's a funny double-negative. Your point, which is incorrect, was that, quote: And I replied that they're no MORE at risk. Read my words carefully; I wrote them carefully. ;-)

    Carbon Ceramic replacement cost

I understand you probably don't have any idea who I am, and that's fine. Folks who know me from the Corvette Forum know that when I speak with respect to technical aspects of GM vehicles, I do so with authority. I have contacts well within the engineering community at that company. I'm also a...

    Carbon Ceramic replacement cost

I disagree with most of what you're written as I've been actively using CCBs at the race track since my 2010 ZR1. But this one, right here, is just outright false. If you're concerned about damage, that's on you, of course. But the rotors are not actually any more at risk with or without the...
