Yep I actually sold them my 23 CT5 BW in black and they ordered me a blue one. Got two driving schools. They tell me only a handful of the 20ish BW they sell each year actually gets driven. Took one of their sales reps for a ride. It was fun to see his reaction to how fast the 5BW was.
I did mine at 1200 miles and it was pretty dang dirty. Surprised it isn’t part of regular maintenance even if u don’t track similar to M cars break in. Mine almost had a metallic hue. Compared to my Honda truck (yes it’s not the same) but that even after 25000 seemed still clear.
I must have struck a nerve. This thread is definitely has gone across a vast and of topics. Probably last post on this thread.
Yes, you are correct that society has been shifted where we all say you need a college degree. Do I believe everyone should go to college. No. But if you want a...
Lots of red but where the blue dots are usually have the highest concentration of college degrees and high paying white color jobs. Even places like TX has blue areas which are most metro areas. Not saying u need an education to succeed in life but most of these blue dots areas probably...
I got it from an out of state dealer on Dec 2022. I had it transported covered to my house. At that point, if you could get a BW at msrp, u jumped on it as I did. Well big mistake since it was black and paint was total crap. Panels were misaligned. Trunk had to be slammed shut. Well oddly...
I got a black BW delivered to me in Jan. Dealer didn’t even take the white film off. When I did. Car look like someone took a broom and pushed snow off the panels. Scratches everywhere. On top of that, they put the film over dirt and even bird poop. I don’t think GM cars one bit if ur 100k...
Doesn’t mean u should be reckless on a public road but u realize how little u really push these cars on a spirited drive on public road. Maybe 30-40 of potentially. I sometimes wonder if I should get a 2nd slower car just to feel more of the limits on a regular road but I also ditto, need to...
What is your definition of warmed up? Point where car settles to its normal long term running temp or at which you can go WOT. I pondered that until I went to spring mt where we would literally jump into the cars when they are cold. Do 1-2 warm up laps and we go WOT.
Yes it’s hard but just get on the cancellation list. Then u just have to say yes when they call you. I did the school twice. Once auto and once manual. If u want to focus on being fast and learn track, do auto. If you want to see how to push a manual on track and not necessarily be fastest...
Just the whole ebrake thing is annoying. Wish I had a handle to pull. How many times I have gone back to the car just to make sure I turned the ebrake on.
My first BW was like this. Someone must have used a wire broom to get the snow off and then put plastic wrap over bird poop. What a mess. Good thing I sold that one. Paint was a disaster.
