JB4 may get you a CEL depending on the tune, but you can clear it. HP Tuner Global B tuning should have enough refinement to prevent a CEL. You can also check Tapout's website. Their FAQ's page addresses your question.

Just like @A Blackwing I had it on my CTR and it was great for road trips. I was disappointed that GM didn't include it but not a deal breaker.

There's not much aftermarket for the wheel at this time. You can try eBay or Redline Goods will do it for free since they don't have a template, but you'll need to send it in. RedlineGoods shift boots

It seems like it would be interconnected, but I would like to know this, too. I'd love to remove the rumbling fake engine sound coming through the speakers when I take the foot off the accelerator in Sport mode.
