Good to know that these cars are in a "transport mode" to preserve their batteries. I've read where things go wonky on cars in general when batteries run low and the electronics get messed up. We always have our cars on trickle battery chargers when not being used as daily drivers.

The battery issue is enough to NOT do it! Can you imagine having a car on the top level of a transport truck and it won't start; let alone what it would do to the electronics of the car. UGH! Thanks so much for the speedy reply!

I seem to remember someone posting how the VIN numbers are assigned - one set for CT4-V BW Automatic; one set for CT4-V BW Manual; one set for CT5-V BW automatic and one set for CT5-V BW manual. It makes sense that there will be duplication of the last "3" numbers across all four sets of VINs...

Our 2013 CTS-V Wagon gives us all those measurements (oil age, tire pressure, fuel, etc) WITHOUT OnStar. I think OnStar bundles them into a pretty report and emails it to you; but the car also has access to all those features without OnStar.
