I hope that your call will raise awareness of your "lost car" and that someone will get the ball rolling on your vehicle - and the others in that same batch. It sure feels like those January cars are somehow off the radar screens and they need to get back into the rollout process. You might...

Follow the options until you get to the year and model you are interested in. It takes a few clicks, but eventually you'll get to Ordering Information. Take the option...
@1StunnaV - Thank you so much for these ordering details! When Cadillac releases some Marketing materials on the new exterior colors, please keep us posted!
Also - "Enclosed Shipping" sounds very intriguing! I can think of a few guys and gals on this Forum who wished their cars had been...
Good to know that these cars are in a "transport mode" to preserve their batteries. I've read where things go wonky on cars in general when batteries run low and the electronics get messed up. We always have our cars on trickle battery chargers when not being used as daily drivers.
This is exactly what I needed to know! Thank you so much for participating in this Forum. Your advice is appreciated and welcomed. I will not even broach the subject with my dealer :)
The battery issue is enough to NOT do it! Can you imagine having a car on the top level of a transport truck and it won't start; let alone what it would do to the electronics of the car. UGH!
Thanks so much for the speedy reply!
Now that I finally have a car that is built, I'm starting to read the "Shipping" threads.
Someone in one of these assorted threads said he turned on the car's Onstar feature in order to track his car.
What are the pros and cons of doing that?
Does having Onstar active draw down on the...
Spoke with our Dealer today and he said they can "play" with the configurations, but can't save them as an order. They are waiting for more details from Cadillac as to when order taking will open. The last info we have is May 5th.
Woo Hoo! I graduated from the "Class of 3400" yesterday! They really are building cars this week! Cadillac Chat says we are at "4000" - Available To Ship.
Class of 3400 looks like this as of today:
And the Class Graduates look like this:
Looks like Sharkskin Metallic (GXD) is being used on other GM cars under different names; same paint code. Maybe we can get a peek at it on one of the other car's configurators. (Edited: All three cars listed below are 2023 models - no online configurators available ...yet)
Found this in a...
This is the last information I have about 2022/2023 orders. It came from a GM notice that was re-posted on this Forum. It would be good to know if it still stands:
DOSP = Dealer Order Submission Process
Initial Consensus = How many of the product the dealer has "earned" as allocated by GM...
I seem to remember someone posting how the VIN numbers are assigned - one set for CT4-V BW Automatic; one set for CT4-V BW Manual; one set for CT5-V BW automatic and one set for CT5-V BW manual. It makes sense that there will be duplication of the last "3" numbers across all four sets of VINs...
Our 2013 CTS-V Wagon gives us all those measurements (oil age, tire pressure, fuel, etc) WITHOUT OnStar. I think OnStar bundles them into a pretty report and emails it to you; but the car also has access to all those features without OnStar.
