I've fitted fiberglass hoods to cars in the past, and they always required a ton of sanding, leveling, body filler, etc. to fit correctly and look nice.
Do these CF hoods fit perfect right out of the box?
What the ZL1 people and some CT5V people were saying is that the original toe links were stamped steel pieces of crap with rubber bushings (which they are) and they tended to flex under acceleration.
They said that while some people had fixed the issue via an alignment, that was only a temp...
You measure the toe links when you install them to basically mirror the measurements of the old ones. Following, you should really do a 4-wheel alignment. They didn't show me the before/after alignment results like some of the specialty alignment shops do...
Sorry for the delay.
After 3 weeks of downtime, they fixed the software installation glitch, and I did get the car back. The weather hasn't been great, but I have had a chance to do some minimal testing.
My impressions:
- The SPL toe links seemed to have calmed down the extreme dartiness...
Ha! Me neither.
No, because I bought it in TX from Sewell.
Note: I am getting irritated, but not TOO much, as the car still has summer-only tires on it and the weather is shitty... So, I wouldn't be driving it anyway. But still, what a SNAFU...
UPDATE: Car still bricked. It's been a couple of weeks now... They say they are working with Cadillac on a solution, but that could take another 7-10 days.

Evidently, they did a recall (they said it was the one for unintended trunk opening) that involved installing new...
I heard the engine builders were DEI hires.
Maybe we should also start a 'STILL GOING STRONG' registry, so it doesn't appear like some large percentage of CT5BW's are blowing their motors on a regular basis...
WANTED TO BRING THIS THREAD BACK UP...
After 10,000 miles, my CT5V is experiencing severe rear end wiggle when you jump on the throttle at higher speeds in 3rd and 4th gear.
There have been pretty significant discussions on this issue on the Blackwing Facebook Group and people have tracked it...
That Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is an AWESOME car. It replicates a regular paddle-shift car down to the last detail, including bouncing off the rev limiter. It basically replicates the experience of being in a rear-drive, manually-shifted dual clutch type car... Check out this Nurburgring video of...
Pressure washer is great for use with the foam cannon! Other than that, there is no reason to pressure wash your paint... Either use a 2-bucket method or Optimum No-Rinse.
This is the way. Optimum No-Rinse is a great way to get your finish very clean with very minimal marring. Much less...
