    CT4-V CT4 V blackwing vs RS3 6 months later

Another car I wished I had kept, mine was a '93 black with a tan interior. Loved the hell out of it, especially that motor. I remember my first time driving a VR6 and swore I had to have one in a Corrado and scored a low mileage used one a few months later. Tried to relive my youth and buy a...

    CT4-V CT4 V blackwing vs RS3 6 months later

Not anymore after this year. But there’s still the GLI in MT.

    CT4-V CT4 V blackwing vs RS3 6 months later

That surprised me too, so I just fully loaded one in the Audi US configurator and came up with around $163k before transport and taxes. Base price on an RS6 is now $127k. That’s about what I paid for mine nicely optioned back in 2022. But now the RS6 is called the RS6 Performance and comes...

    CT4-V CT4 V blackwing vs RS3 6 months later

I had a similarly modded MT B5 S4 Avant back in the day and absolutely loved it. Used to run it in Driver Education events with the Porsche Club and blow by them in the straights, with a Baby on Board sign in the back window just to piss them off (and it did!). Have had a bunch of high...

    CT4-V CT4 V blackwing vs RS3 6 months later

I second that opinion, having owned an RS6 for the last few years. Came from an AMG E63S wagon. The RS6 is soft and boring by comparison, despite the "specs". Very comfortable daily driver, and long distance cruiser, but... boring. The appearance though, that's where I never get tired...

CT5-V Max tire size (diameter, width) you can put on stock 5BW suspension w/no rubbing?

Never mind. I just saw the post where the 325 Michelins are actually wider than the 335 Contis.

CT5-V Max tire size (diameter, width) you can put on stock 5BW suspension w/no rubbing?

So you’re saying that things are real tight in the rear wheel wells with the 335s, to the point where you’re uncomfortable with clearances? I’m starting to tee up my wheels and tires in anticipation of an early Feb delivery. I’ve always been a Michelin fan, but wide 335 rear meats are tough...

    20” wheel/tire specs for 5BW?

Very sweet. How is ride quality with those springs? Looks to be over an inch of lowering?

    20” wheel/tire specs for 5BW?

Cool. Any photos of your car? Owner wheel and suspension mods seem to be rare on this car for some reason. Not a lot of photos out there!

    20” wheel/tire specs for 5BW?

Nice. Are you at stock ride height? I am thinking of a slight lowering. Any rubbing?

    In a dilemma… Help.

I understand that when just using pdr. Well, I guess I wasted $1600. Didn’t even know about SVR. I assume that is a standard feature on a 5BW?

    In a dilemma… Help.

I think this thread suggests otherwise? https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/threads/is-pdr-a-option.4026/

    In a dilemma… Help.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the PDR can also act as a 360 dash cam? That’s why I optioned it on my 25, I have no intentions of tracking, but after installing integrated dash cams on prior vehicles, I’ll gladly pay $1600 not to do that again, and to have it fully invisible.

    Make Blackwing Great Again

lol, embarrassing for me. I am so fixated on a 5BW in Drift that I didn’t notice it was a 4BW.

    Make Blackwing Great Again

Rare beast being a 2025 in Drift with CF (can't tell if that CF1 or 2). What's your full spec? Are the 2025 BW side badges coming on the doors now? I think I missed seeing that before.

    20” wheel/tire specs for 5BW?

20” wheels don’t seem to be popular around here. I’m curious about width and offset specs, and most importantly what tire sizes will work. There’s a thread raging on the Gen Discussion forum about no quality all season tires being available for the OE 19s. Since I’m considering the appearance...

    2025 5-BW Precision Package Questions...

However all the videos I’ve seen of reviewers raving about the PP had the Cup 2R tires installed. I’d wager those tires alone would transform the handling. Then you figure the rest of the components were dialed in around the 2Rs. Then you realize how massively impractical R compound tires are...

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

Some models are AWD, some are not. Some have switchable AWD/RWD. The point is: a set of A/S tires allows the BW to fully deliver on its sedan promises. If warm, dry condition driving is the limiting factor of safely driving this car, why compromise with the form and weight of a sedan, just get...

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

Yet somehow BMW, Audi, and Mercedes can claim the same status and give us the best of both worlds. High Performance with the practicality of a daily driver. As previously stated here, if you’re looking just for high performance, there are much better vehicle value propositions. The value...
