I had the same and I think I figured out a problem & solution. If your phone goes into "DRIVING" focus mode, CarPlay doesn't work. If I turn off Driving Focus, it connects immediately. This is the kind of genius out of the box thinking we come to expect from Apple :LOL:

"Just Tremec Things" - I haven't yet had this happen on my 5BW but in my 2012 CTS-V Wagon, also equipped with a 6-Speed Tremec, it would occasionally pop out of 1st.

That's a big nope from me too. Do you live in an area with different dealerships? I expect your experience with this dealer is going to continue the way it started ... i.e. slow, frustrating and possibly incompetent

Oh very historically for a 22, but allocations are a self reinforcing thing. Dealers that sell a lot of blackwings get more allocations for blackwings to sell. So far as I can tell most of the SF Bay Area business has been through Stevens Creek and South San Francisco.

If you haven't already, shop around dealers. Fremont was stringing me along forever but Stevens Creek gave me an allocation immediately.

For GM this is a really quick and low-cost way to keep people interested in the Blackwing. I'm just happy it's not yet another sticker and trim package. I'm not sure they'll sell a lot, but IMO the extra attention should probably help the market for all 5BWs - it'll be putting down some nice...

I'm planning/hoping to keep my car, the factory warranty for the powertrain is supposed to be 6 years and 70,000 miles. After that, I'll be going for an extended warranty when the time comes, and hoping I don't draw the short straw... If I'm following correctly there are basically 3 failure...
