It’s only because you haven’t had the opportunity to put miles on an A10, we have both 5BW, yes the manual keeps you busy(there’s no choice) the A10 is simply a joy to drive quieter better fuel mileage more relaxed if you can believe that. Our A10 is the only choice on every drive the manual...

Well that’s a bummer! Our 5BW A10 13,000 miles seems well, hopefully stays that way.

As far as I’ve seen all are 6 speed motors with titanium rods, which differ from the A10 motors, just wondering if that’s the issue rods?

Unbelievably yesterday on the FDR Drive in Manhattan around Grant Street 4 o’clock coastal blue BW 5 headed southbound! First one we’ve seen on the street, on worst roads there are in the country! Coastal Blue, standard rims.

Can’t imagine what the price tag will be?

Smoking and mirrors GM always been very good at relabeling things with decals and charging top dollar. No change in horsepower/ suspension not worth the money. M2C

Just spent 5 days VA Beach, great beaches stayed at Cavalier

We have the same issue, 6/5 gear decelerating from 85 to 70 not heard above or below those speeds weird noise vibration not crazy but there. I did mention this back in January, dealer says all good our A10 doesn’t have the issue!🧐

If it’s rod knock there would be fluctuation in your oil pressure, I know from experience on other motors!

They all have some version of this, I’m sure they are all running for the hills now!

Strange that it seems to be only the manual engines having issues, I know they’re built with different components, but I have yet to hear an automatic going down?
