But in the 8 seconds my wife might catch on to what I'm doing. She has traction control button spidy-sense, and I have long thumbs and can reach it when shifting to 2nd totally unnoticed to normal humans.
Are you sure its not the new pads rattling in the calipers? How are you able to isolate the sound to the EPB caliper and not the brake calipers? The brake pads are huge and have a lot of mass, so unless you went with OEM Brembo pads, it's likely the tension springs are not engineered as well...
I figured the citation would be GMA. Absolutely worthless article that is nothing more than hyperbole about the "significant mid-cycle refresh" and a who gives a shit parking package that is now standard.
I agree, its not a "real" luxury car and that is precisely why I love it. It's fine that it's a Cadillac but I would be just as happy with it if it had a Chevy badge.
As I advised weeks ago, the 20" wheels are 100% the right choice. It's a significant range hit for sure, but what you gain in performance and aesthetics is well worth it. You need to get those aero covers off ASAP as they trap rocks and debris that damage the coating. Make sure to get the get...
Most of us ordered our cars exactly how we wanted and paid MSRP 2-3 years ago during peak ADM. Plenty of us have been around here a while and know exactly how the BW market works, but the mansplaining is adorable nonetheless.
My first gen CTS-V was on the lot for over 2 years (inside the showroom actually). They had a huge dealer mark-up on it and wouldn't budge. They were also a Pontiac dealer and I came in to make a deal in the 6 speed GXP they had. We started BS'ing on the V1 and the sales guy said the GM...
@Berserker You had considering my irresponsible life choices, then at the end you came around and validated them!!
You only get one ticket for the ride, enjoy it along the way, I say.
^^^no kidding! Maybe farkles get some people excited, but if I didn't know this car existed and heard it start, then saw it perform on track, pretty sure I would be running to the dealer.
I'm not an expert, but I think a lemon case is based on a specific issue that isn't resolved in a fixed time period. Mechanical things fail and the dealer/GM are upholding their end of the deal, so sounds like you just a bit unlucky here. I think you would have a tough time making a lemon...
Between wife, two driving-age kids, and whatever my reasons are, I have a small fleet of cars and I do all the maintenance and service work on them. However, if one with an active warranty needs troubleshooting, I can't get it to the dealer fast enough. I got 99 problems but a warrantied check...
Maybe the PO carried a phone or something on his belt? He was fastest in the west on drawing his phone from his belt, yup, 'ol iPhone McGillacuddy...
As a tangent, you can clearly see why some of us don't buy into the "leather conditioning" product fallacy. All that stuff does is make the...
My guess is the customer paying the bill offers the dealer quite a bit more money than warranty work does. It's unfortunate that morally bankrupt people are drawn to employment in service departments because it needlessly piles on more reasons to despise the dealer network model as a whole.
Hopefully someone can post details on the specific plug in question, where it is, and what to check. When I first read this thread I was thinking it was the drain plug, but I gather now it's some sort of oil galley plug or similar.
Don't count on the Kong port adding much, maybe 10-15% more and mostly at high RPM. I'm know I'm getting older when I like the subtle whine and stock stance of the 5BW, its perfect.
I hardwired my Tesla L2 Charger myself 4 years ago, and then within 30 minutes had the Lucid L2 charger swapped in its space with the proper crumped on lugs. Hardwired doesn't mean its permanently part of house, there is still a connection at the charger that can be undone in 1 minute.
The...
