What did you all drive back in the day?

I'll add mine now including motorcycles. Kinda depressing in a way. I get tired of cars quickly because I'm an impulse buyer. Does not include my wife's vehicles. We tend to only drive our own, but I drive her Wrangler at times. 1979 - 65 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 1981 - 73 Mazda RX3...

Does anyone know where dealerships get their parts from?

They're likely using GM/Cadillac parts warehouses/distribution, not something we see into.

    Blackwings and Watches

My current watch is a Casio Waveceptor. I ran networks and servers for long enough that I really like having a precise watch

    Blackwings and Watches

Some really cool watches here. I've always loved watches, but I just need to know, all of you with chrongraphs and navtimers, do you use all of those functions?

    1,500 miles service

    Spring mountain- experienced racers?

yeah, been looking at the costs of flying, car rental, parking, etc. and trying to decide if it's worth it for me. Right no3w, it's a toss up between flying and driving. I love to drive, even for 7-10 hours straight. I've only got 7 track days over 3 years, so I'll definitely benefit from the...

    CT4-V Blackwing...kind of slow

And if you drop in the JB4 and increase the HP, you already have a great set of brakes. Always said, if you're gonna add power, you gotta add brakes, and Cadillac has given us the breathing room with these brakes

CT5-V Anyone know highest decibels of sound?

And Laguna puts theirs mid way up a hill straight so that you're under full load. I guess I'll know soon enough

CT5-V Anyone know highest decibels of sound?

I'll be there on the 17th of February. I believe that my car (CT4-V BW) is quieter than your 5 BW.

    CT4-V Blackwing...kind of slow

Thunderhill East or west? I think this car is well suited to East, but was worried it's a little ungainly for west? What's your opinion? My "home track" is Laguna Seca, but will be doing at least Button Willow in 2024

    CT4-V Blackwing...kind of slow

for me, the JB4 would be fine. California is making it harder to get away with a tuned vehicle (from what I've read) in that they are supposedly going to be looking at fueling or boost levels that aren't stock. JB4 is easily removed/replaced (even though I have another 7 years til that's an...

CT5-V Anyone know highest decibels of sound?

I was curious about this. I was planning to do a 90 dB track day at Laguna Seca and am really hoping I can run full sound and not get black flagged

I have actually spoken with other Type R owners that had issues with their transmissions as well as the techs at Honda. Kind of a mixed bag. If you're watching Zygrene's videos, my car can be seen in the background at the beginning

My son had a 2020 Type R, horrible shifter. Very finicky. There's a reason there's a huge aftermarket for the Type R shifter bits, bushings, mounts, etc. And yes, he and I both know how to drive a manual transmission. I'd take the Subaru with it's springy clutch return over the type R
