Here's mine. I tried to replicate the angle of your picture.

CT5-V Hello from a new BW owner

You picked the correct color and it provides +5 horsepower as well. :_rock

    Maintenance Intervals

Just to provide a counterpoint to the 'trust the engineers' argument that, being an engineer, I would normally agree with: There's a lot of things manufacturers do just for their own bottom line and let's remember, after the warranty period, your car's longevity is against their interests...

Paint color & wheel combination ?

2025 Radiant Red with black rims and red calipers. Pictures don't really do it justice because the metal flakes really react to direct sun and create a ton of interesting depth between the highlights and shadows. The bronze wheels would also probably look good, but they're harder to clean and...

    2026 allocation

If we're honest, aside from the colors and special editions, the 4BW has been the same car since it debuted. Which is fine with me, they don't really need to change anything.

    2026 allocation

Your average car sales person is only trained on how to sell you what is on the lot. The entire system is geared towards that. As soon as you want a custom order from the factory, you should be asking to work with the sales manager who is generally the only person who can enter orders into GM...

    Bonus bolt!

Based on the grooves on the top, it looks like it was installed.. somewhere. You may need to get the dealer to check out the general area for a missing bolt.

What were your must have options?

The AI summary I got indicates that in model year 24, they discontinued the ionizer and instead simply offer an upgraded air filter with the tech package.

    GM N25-250336 update

So great you have an Internet connected vehicle that's already a year behind in security patches. It'll only get worse. Where's that thread that shows how to disconnect OnStar?

Stop defending AI slop. You're alone on this. The title doesn't give people license to post nonsense.

Road side assistance - limit and aggravation

Roadside insurance coverage. Should get. Next time.

    Auto vs. Manual

Yeah there's too many microelectronic parts that only GM has the ability to produce to make these cars an investment. When GM stops stocking the parts you have a bit more time scavenging junk yards then the entire line is scrap. Sad but true and exactly what the manufacturers want.

    Dang Rock

There's a seemingly never-ending supply of small rocks and almost nothing to stop them on their mission to damage your vehicle. Other areas have moisture, terrain, and vegetation to slow them down. The desert is just this barren, endless, mostly flat home for angry rocks. That's my take after...

MY2026 - What is the ordering process like?

Mine was delivered at the end of MY25. It had to do the whole truck->train->truck kabuki dance so it took about five weeks to go 10 hours down the road from the factory. I'm not bitter about having to pay the destination fee for that logistical disaster at all, no not at all...

    Dang Rock

Go with OEM glass installed by whomever you trust. Otherwise they will replace it with the cheapest stuff they can find. Your wipers will chatter and it will be much more susceptible to breaking in the future. I went through three 'Safelite specials' in rapid succession until I got smart and...

Have you seen anything like this before?

A bit of googling would tell you that it is called 'piggybacking' and is very common.
