She's got 32,589 on the odo now.
Changed the oil & oil filter
Rotated the tires from one side to the other. Was pretty impressed with the even wear across the tread on both fronts & rears. They all seem to be wearing evenly. I thought baby might be needing a new pair of shoes soon but looks...
IIRC, the vehicle came with a tire warrany from Michelin. Look over all the paperwork provided by your dealer when you picked up the vehicle. Even if you don't have it, I'd still contact the dealer &/or Michelin about possible warranty coverage.
Typical commute to work from door-to-door. (I have 3 other job sites I have to commute to that are another 25 miles added from home. This is why I've got +32k miles on my 5BW!)
From the first day I got my MY23 5BW, I've had the center belt tucked away in the trunk & it does as yours -- sticks down approx 1.5 feet. It just dangles there behind the seat in the trunk. 32k miles later, no ill effects & I've never noticed it to make any noise.
I've got 32,062 miles on my 5BW 6MT. 2 track days but otherwise mostly highway miles. The OEM Michelins are worn evenly front to back & side to side at all 4 corners. They are almost but not quite to the wear bars. I'm probably looking at a new pair of shoes in the next couple of months.
I...
Too late for my keyfob. The 2nd one is pristine since it just sits in a drawer. (For those wanting to know, the whitish cylinder is a Tritium keychain attachment that glows so I can easily find the fob in the dark.)
Even on the most mundane trips like going to the grocery store, I've found my 5BW to be more engaging than it ought to be. She's comfortable & has all the amenities I want/need as well as the flexibility. The other day, I was out with Wifey running some errands & then decided on a last-minute...
Turn the wheel all the way in to give yourself room to work on the inside of the fender well. (ie, If working on the px side, turn the whelel all the way to the LEFT.)
(at least on the 5BW), starting from the bottom of the fender liner, remove 4 of the screws holding the fender liner in. The...
Just installed mine for the 5BW. I had the blackout film on the sidemarker lights before so it still looks the same when the light is off. But clearly, it looks different & better (IMHO) when the light is on.
Just saw my 5BW twin late this afternoon northbound on US1 just south of Sanford, NC. Even had almost the exact same plate as me but from TN. As far as I can tell, the only difference was their sunroof. (I don't have one.) Dunno if it was MT or auto, tho.
IMHO, the ONLY downside for this as a family vehicle is the lack of a spare tire. It's easily remedied by getting one of the spare tire kits from ModernSpare but it'll cut into your trunk space & then the ability to put a large stroller back there.
