As a C7 Z06 and 4BW owner, I'd lean 4BW for the daily driver. The 4BW can run softer and more docile in touring duties and doesn't require the level of constant attention due to better rearward visibility.
Part of the challenge is they are still using the normal dry line which can become super slick in rain.

I feel like if you weren't going to get a C8 because it doesn't have a clutch pedal and H-pattern shifter, you would look at used C7s before new/used BWs. They are pretty different cars.
Except that mine is an A10 so got the Driver Assist Package, our cars are pretty close in configuration. I'm not bothered by that value, my plan is to keep mine for a very long time.
