Ive got some sort of trunk organizer almost similar - same size and shape but it has Velcro flaps as covers (and no straps) that I need to keep things in place in the corners. Mine is full of cleaning supplies car vacuum, etc.. Not for groceries (I have large insulated totes from Costco for that.)

Just grab it with the R compounds and order the OEM 4S from Costco or somewhere to swap on for daily usem. I'd keep the R compounds for track day only (and when I wear them out, get the extended 240 wear variant at Costco.)

I buy them at RockAuto, typically a lot less and install myself (I don't know of a dealer that will use parts they didn't order even if it's in the same OEM boxes.)

I've used the rubber strip with rubber glue type thing many times in the past with no issues but I upgraded to the mushroom plug a few years ago. It's the only way I know of that allows you to keep the tire mounted and seal the hole from the inside.

So true on the e9xs. I still have an e90 M3 but scared to drive it after all the engine work is required! It just sits on the battery tender while I enjoy the 5BW and hopefully see the e90 resale value creep up.

Once you're moving, no problem..stopping and turning at slow speeds in the 20s can be dicey and last I read, you will get microfractures in the rubber. Not sure what that would mean for durability or track use...YMMV.
