The omen actually tracks a different variable. I think with the goat rodeo the choice is not 6 more or fewer weeks. The omen indicates whether you have to wait 6 weeks or 6 months.

Thinking about 6th gear again, searched and found this thread. I don't even know whether we need 6th in this car for street driving the way it's geared. On the highway I'm at maybe 3200 rpm in 5th at 80, which drops to maybe 2100 rpm in 6th. If there are some uphill grades, and I'm working...

BMW also helpfully would alert you that your oil was low AFTER it was already too low (based on their rather aggressive warning messages). At least that was the experience I had with mine. What's the point of an oil monitoring system if you don't get some notice *before* it's critical? I...

It's been so long since I've driven an STI. I would think that the raspy 3 cylinder of the GRC would make it sound and feel a lot different than the boxer, but not sure.

I suppose I'm used to whatever rev hang there is, not something that gets in the way of the experience. And mine does have a center arm rest, simple and common aftermarket solution. I really like the ITS as well, but it's larger and more refined. Just a different experience, almost boring...
