I feel like the blocks rest on both the top and the pinch weld. I don't recall there being a gap on the frame of the car. I would feel the top of the blocks drag along the car.
I lined up the blocks on the pinchweld and tightened the bolts just enough so they wouldn't slide off. I then used my...
1. I don't have a quickjack, sorry so I can't answer that question.
2. I ended up using ramps to install the pads. I jacked up one side at a time and placed ramps underneath the front and rear wheels to keep the car supported. I jacked the car up using the front pinch weld with a low profile...
Hey everyone
I was always curious about these because it's always been a pain to jack up my CT4BW.
I ended up getting a set of Amazon for about $30 and found some longer M6 bolts in my bolt bin and managed to get these fitted without any issues.
The front spot requires a little bit of...
You can try running map 3 or even doing a custom map with a bit more boost Target and more fuel bias. You'll slowly have to increase the Boost and fuel bias and do lots of logs to make sure that your ignition timing and AFR's are in healthy ranges.
You can Run 93 octane as well, there's a different map on the JB4 that adds a bit more boost with the higher octane. I added some Boostane to bring up the total octane to 95 with the 12s run. I bet it would be high 11s on a prepped strip.
I wouldn't run 8.9 psi of boost with 20 fuel bias. You're asking for lean AFRs, pulled timing, and misfiring.
You'll have to be running 100+ octane for something like that. If you're running 93 octane set the target no higher than 5psi or just run map 2 and get some logs. You can adjust your...
The ccbs aren't even that much better in my opinion. I had a C6Z with The carbon ceramic brakes and I feel like that car didn't stop any better than my ZL1 1LE on the same tracks. The carbon ceramic rotors only lasted me about a year and a half and roughly about 15 track days for they got to the...
Can you post photos of your car with those weeks?. I found a post you placed on the "What did you do to your BW" thread but the pictures are very low res.
Did you go with the 9.5" or 10" rears? They look great. I'm torn between the Anthracite and Bronze Wheels for my black CT4BW.
I'm curious if the 10" wheels are more "concave" than the 9.5 or if it's just the same concavity, just a tad wider.
I saw your car in another thread, I have been eyeing the bronze wheels for my car. Mine is black and tried to do some Photoshop magic to get an idea. This is the best I could do. Deciding between the bronze or silver.
