I didn't own a .1 but I had a 991.2 C4S manual. Obviously this was when they changed the motor to a turbo away from NA. I sold the car in a month.
I've never driven a .1 but sound is important yo me and its my understanding they do sound great. However these cars are also expensive to maintain...
I used to always have a fun car for winter for the same reason. Boring cars are, well, boring. The last two winters I've driven a Camaro SS 1LE and a C8 Stingray in winter and I bought them specifically to drive in winter. I owned an M3 Competition xDrive before that, a KIA Stinger etc.
I've...
If your at 2000 your car will be built. No worries.
Cup 2s in winter aren't an issue. It was during the C7 Corvette generation that GM wouldn't ship any Corvette's during winter because the tire compounds could crack in the freezing temps. The current tires don't have that issue.
A lot of...
An E-Ray won't be any better for a short commute. You can only use the battery for very short distances (2 miles?) and your stuck doing like 20mph. If you go faster the engine turns on.
Driving a car before it gets warm isn't a bad thing, just don't beat on it when its cold.
Its not the best...
If thats the case I look at a lot of photos of my "ex's". Lot of cars the last 5 years.
Its a good thing the current one doesn't talk back. She came from warm weather and was put into a cold garage with no end in sight.
But she doesn't complain!
Don't tempt me, I finally got back into a manual C7Z and its fucking yellow. I do not want to replace it with a green on tan manual super sedan.
I'm serious.
I swear.
Maybe the V Academy is a little slower to replace since they get less students compared to Corvette's. I know for the Corvette's they get swapped out every year, I assumed the Cadillac's would be the same but due to the volume they may keep them a little longer.
Yes you will absolutely save more money on resale if you option nothing at all. Literally just get a base model in black and you will retain the most value.
However these cars aren't bought rationally, like most enthusiast vehicles. I say that optioning a couple of small options, especially on...
I believe Spring Mountain replaces their cars every year. Doesn't matter if its a Corvette or Cadillac. They cycle through them to make sure the customer is getting their car, not a 3 year old one.
Also I still love this colour. I'd absolutely order Typhoon if I was getting another.
I wish...
For the price of the car, most of the options don't matter. The seats are basically the only option besides the PDR that adds some sort of value that you will actually use. Considering the base price of the car, adding 3k more for upgraded seats that don't look like they were pulled out of the...
I would imagine they are fine for an oil change. They are the second largest dealer of Corvette's and those are all dry sumps.
The Blackwing doesn't have a dry sump, changing the oil isn't any harder than a Silverado.
I did it for my C7 and I've also done the Ron Fellows Experience here in Canada twice where you basically do the day 2 lead follow session but in a Blackwing, ZL1 1LE and C8Z so you experience all 3 cars on track.
Since I'm in Canada I would have to pay for flights and a rental car as well...
All these modes do is change the throttle response, power steering weight, dampers and exhaust.
Its rain, leave it in tour mode and drive like you are behind the wheel of an Impala being driven by an old lady on Sunday to church.
Its not overly challenging to drive in rain, as long as your...
CT4 will not appreciate more than a 5BW. They make similar amounts every year and one has a V8. Pretty obvious manual 5BW's will retain more value longterm.
Sales numbers don't matter if the car is lacking something to make it special. In this case that something is a V8.
My buddy didn't want to spend 50-60k on one so he bought a GTS-T instead for half as much. Used the extra money to paint it midnight purple 2.
I don't care for 90s japanese cars but my friend likes it. He didn't want to get anything really expensive because he wanted to be a able to drive it...
Nice, if I was getting another one I'd order from them. I'm from Kingston but they sell quite a lot of Cadillac's for such a small dealer.
I almost pulled the trigger on ordering a '25 through them but decided not to.
