2025 CT4 BW in typhoon metallic dealer pics

I don’t think so. They had electric blue Cadillacs which I know were not available for 2024. I think they had some other colors that are a couple years old. Only one 2025 that I saw.

Not the best pics but some more examples of Typhoon Metallic on a Spring Mountain car.

    Media dumps

They talk about this at Spring Mountain and if the vehicle is sitting unmoved so there is a constant point of pressure in the same spot of the tire in the cold it can cause cracking. The Spring Mountain instructor recommended putting the vehicle in air.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

Don’t you have a Focus RS? Haha no need to take anything else in the snow, I could drive circles around people with the Michelin Alpin 4s on that car. I would drive around in drift mode just hooning around every corner in the snow, so controllable and fun. And I agree. My 4 BW with X Ice tires...

    Spring Mountain Impressions

I’ll be there. Really looking forward to getting back on the track, it has been a few years since I’ve last been. When I bought a Focus RS many years ago they did something similar and it was a great experience.

Did you do or are doing V academy

I don’t think you’ll get an accurate rate on this. I only learned of Spring Mountain through this forum. There was no marketing about this from my dealer nor Cadillac. I’m not sure how many people who aren’t active on this forum will even know this exists. All that typed, you can measure how...

Long term reliability of the 5BW LT4 unmodified

The owner will be the single biggest factor in determining how long the car will last. Driving style and maintenance will be huge factors, along with how much money you are willing to spend. How many miles a year do you drive, do you actually anticipate driving 300K-400K miles? I put about 10K...

Potential Tremec M6 Reverse Lockout Issue

Yes this is a common issue and something I experience as well. Once the transmission fluid warms up it goes away. When it’s cold my Miata is also difficult to shift into first gear and both cars have highly regarded manual transmissions. I think it’s an acceptable trade off, would rather have...

    Media dumps

I was going to post this in that other thread where the member was complaining about how expensive the ZR1 was, but saw that he was banned and that thread moved. Anyways, it’s a relative performance bargain, supported by the attached. USA! USA! USA...

    Anyone done this color combo?

Not sure if color/matte PPF differs but I’ve had PPF on all my cars for the past 7 years and never had to maintain it. It makes washing the car easier so I would argue it’s less maintenance (at least a clear PPF). As for the color combo you may be able to try out photoshop or some AI tool to get...

CT5-V Anyone else had the Infotainment not boot up on engine start?

This happened to me yesterday. I had not driven the car in over a week and it has been extremely cold (teens). The car is garage kept. It ran and drove fine but the infotainment screen was black and none of the buttons were illuminated for things like heat, heated steering wheel and heated...

    In a dilemma… Help.

I think it’s primarily beneficial for those who track or plan to track the vehicle. I have not used mine for daily driving duty yet but once I get a little more comfortable with the car and start tracking it I plan on using the PDR. It’s a pretty neat feature for a factory vehicle and I’m glad...

    Picked up a 2025 CT4-V Blackwing

Similar to you, I was a Ford guy growing up. Taurus S.H.O with a 5 speed was my first fun car. Years later got a Fiesta ST, then a Focus RS, all manual. My 4 Blackwing is my first GM product and maybe my favorite car I’ve owned. I’m hoping my Porsche phase comes in my 40’s 🙂 I find the cars...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Nice! I had a Focus RS for ~5 years it was an absolute blast especially in the snow. Drift mode was a lot of fun. Two great machines you have there.

    Impressed

You had a similar post months back which I commented on and I will again comment here, this post is misleading and in no way statistically reliable. First, you already note that the trip overall is mostly downhill. Without a return trip to average this out, you are not getting an accurate read...

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

They improved the head starting with the ND2 so power improved from 155hp in the ND1 to 181hp in the ND2. I believe the redline also increased to 7,500 rpm from 7,200 rpm. I’m guessing you meant NA. NA = 1st gen and ND is the current gen starting in 2016.

These are 56" Single Piece RaceRamps - 10.8 Degree Approach Angle. No scraping as I drive onto them. I had Rhino Ramps initially but I don’t think the BW cleared them.

Changed the oil. Very easy job especially with no skid plate to remove. When I googled the oil capacity (just to double check) the AI result said 14.4 quarts. Found the correct confirmation on this forum of 7 quarts.

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

You have to be honest with yourself and how important the engine is as part of the overall experience. At the end of the day if you don’t enjoy the car then obviously don’t buy it. Like me, you seem to value the overall experience rather than any one component of the car. Case in point your...
