    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Thank you very much. I also sent an email to Apex and Corey confirmed that the 18x10 ET42 will fit the CT4 BW rears. Shoutout to @Apex Wheels for the speedy customer service and expertise. My goal for these wheels is to upgrade to race tire and go to 265 and 285 size tires. Maybe one day if I...

    Service: CT4 V BW Philly

If you are looking for a NJ based dealer with a lot of BW service experience and the correct lifts, Gold Coast Cadillac may be worth the extra 45 minute drive IMO. They replaced my engine and diagnosed a steering issue for me with very impressive response times for both. It made me super...

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Just wanted to confirm that I am reading this fitment guide correctly before I buy Can the CT4 BW run the OEM summer tires on wheels that are .5" wider with no issues? I would go with stock size wheels if there are any drawbacks or potential for wheel rub up front. Very interested in a set of...

    CT4-V CT4-V BW Exhaust

Some drone with the valves open is no problem as long as they can be closed up for the neighborhood. Back in the day I used to not care at all, but nowadays NJ cops are more like proctologists. Did this set a CEL?

    Tapout's Flagship CT4-V Blackwing Tops 700 whp!

just curious-- do any unusual components/consumables start to wear faster when you increase the power output on the 4BW? There are the obvious pay to play answers like brakes and tires, but when I tuned one of my previous cars it started eating transmission mounts and all sorts of other "fun"...

    Needs moar sound

^^^ this right here I had my girlfriend do a launch control for me when I was considering a set of catted downpipes. Needless to say, I kept it stock and just fold the rear seats down when I want to hear more decibels. This being said, the stock exhaust volume output on the 4BW is criminal in...

    Wheel hop with launch control

You are correct about the additional grip gained from lower pressures potentially making this hopping more pronounced. I have a feeling the softer, lower PSI tire has more of a chance to grip and flex before breaking friction with the contact surface outright, right before that "hop" sensation...

    Wheel hop with launch control

Try lowering your tire pressure to 32-33psi when cold and see how it reacts. IMO, the summer compound is quite firm in GM's TPC spec, so this may help you mitigate the excessive wheel hop. I have attached the Spring Mountain tire/alignment spec sheet below (note: they operate in much higher...

    Lower deflector damage and replacement

I accidentally scraped up my driver side winglet/deflector but have no idea what the part # is for each side They appear to be held in place by two small bolts that go up into the bumper above - I think they were Torx but I could be wrong on that one

2023 CT4-V Blackwing no serial number on steering wheel

as far as getting one from GM -- that may be tough but as a guy who has always been forced down the path less traveled, I would start at the dealer and then try a trophy store if your local dealer cannot help you.

    Not Happy!!

2023 CT4-V Blackwing no serial number on steering wheel

Worst case, you can always swap the steering wheel -- they are all plug-and-play and are held on by a Torx T30 bolt -- it is super easy to diy I did it in my '12 coupe to match the CF interior package and it looked sweet

    Bent OEM wheel

Took the car to my local dealer for a formal diagnosis of the wheel vibration. It was cupped tires (10k miles on this particular set of PS4 A/S - OEM size). Otto Cadillac in Albany insisted it only needed an alignment about two weeks ago when I first noticed the sensation, yet failed to...
