Sounds about normal GM/Cadillac Goat Rodeo thing. It’s like what happened with the new paint colors. Oh you guys want the new new? We don’t have the paint in stock yet for the new model year. 🤣
No, I mean I wasn’t sure when I was ordering tires. So between the PS4 325 and ECS2 335, the ECS were narrower contact patch wise, so safer bet. Now that they’re mounted on the car, with about -1° of camber, I can see that I have more fender space to run wider tires. 325 PS4 are wider so I’ll...
Nah man, I know the drive sucks even on the best days. I can only imagine how it is right now driving into San Fernando and LA basin with all the fires.
Ive had this happen to me once or twice. But usually after restarting the car, everything goes back to normal.
What bugs me more when it happens is when my window suddenly doesnt wanna go up. One will randomly doesnt wanna go up but will go down. I thought maybe it was just my driver side...
Bless your lil heart sir. You definitely need an auto with SUPERCRUISE!!! Surprised you havent done the californian thing and got a used Model 3 for less than $25K for that drive.
I worked part time in HS at 6 flags, would used to take the back roads via Lake Hughes Rd or San Fransicquito...
Mid seats, sunroof, suede wheel/knob, bronze calipers, not much options on it, probably MSRP'd at low to mid $90s. Theyre asking too much for it for the current market.
Dunno if it’s easier to see how much fender gap are there. Really the ultimate goal of the lowering springs is to lessen the rear gap. Fronts on stock springs aren’t that bad upfront.
Also found my old alignment specs. Definitely have no camber up front. Probably should have adjusted it...
I gotta find my sheet but definitely something that can be fixed with more camber. The upper perch hole on the car is slotted and thats how you adjust camber. When I did my springs, with the anticipation of the wheels, I pushed the upper as much as I could to get more distance between the top...
Havent seen anybody yet. Even on the V3s, its not very common to go twinskies due to the complication and lack of space. Easier to just slap a 2650 or whipple on it and make 1-1.2K with all the supporting mods.
Im pretty sure you can replace the rear cover for a clear one to see the engine.
But holy crap, you drive from Antelope Valley to Burbank area? I cant believe how much Santa Clarita has blown up last time I visited the area. I spent a few years in Lancaster growing up so somewhat still...
Its not just the pedals. Needing a usable rear space is also the other issue. I miss my C6Z every day but needed a more practical car to haul kids in on a pinch than just driving the family mover. Theres not much out there thats a manual with livable rear seats. If I didnt want a manual, I'd...
Same, few folks have said that fixed the swaying on theirs from the few FB groups. Basically similar issues from what the V3 guys experience. Seems to be not as bad since V3 guys ends up replacing every rear arms, not jus the toe arm to fix the load deflection issue.
And thats why Ive been...
Honestly, its not bad. End of the day, its still a full size sedan. Not a low to the ground sports car like a corvette. Maybe Im just so used to driving lowered cars that this thing doesnt even phase me.
Lets just say Ive had cars so low that I've scrapped freeway reflectors with my...
its not bad, Tapout springs arent that crazy higher than the stock spring rates. People just need to remember it takes a bit for them to settle. Ride will be rougher the first month or so, then they start feeling close to stock. Still firmer but I have my shock setting back to the middle...
