Does GM have some kind of special warranty for the shocks? Since GM has been having issues with mag rides leaking since inception, figured they have it fixed 15 odd years later, thats not seem to be the case since my front driver strut is leaking at 12K. I know on certain parts that are known...
I just set MyMode and have everything the middle (steering, brake, suspension) but have engine noise to full. Thats the perfect setting for both my 4BW and 5BW.
Wish they had lower offsets for the front, down to +5 or so since thats about how much poke you need to get it more closer to the fenders up front.
Wish they'd leave more on the pad so we dont need spacers. Wonder if they'd clear iron brakes.
Supposedly no, just need an alignment since toe and camber will be off.
Just double check your struts before you starts disassembly. I found a leaky front passenger strut on mine, thankfully I found it when I started. Not when I'm finishing...
I have two Diono Radian for my older boys on the side. I can slide them out a bit and put my daughters rear facing Graco Slimfit in between them if need be. Just did it this weekend and took the fam out to C&C and Tarpon Springs.
I gotta take my car in tomorrow to get checked for a leaking passenger strut (hooray 12K and leaking already) mag ride. Hoping they wont do this recall since I like how bright the DRLs are with the headlights. They kinda match in brightness.
How close were the holes? I just ordered a set, seen some chips on the door handle from the front tire kicking rocks up and also the bottom of the rear bumper/CF diffuser. Hopefully this would help alleviate it some.
Again, me personally, I'd buy the cross member and replace it myself. Then replace the exhaust with a Kooks catback when they decide to finally release it. Or have a muffler shop replace the dented up sections, probably still cheaper than replacing the whole exhaust with a new OEM one.
This is was the first thing that popped in my head. Guy was asking whats his recourse. Dealer had the car for PPF and was waiting on shipment to get to him iirc.
Mine is I couldnt stop going into a gas station. My drive is a 25 mile drive to work each way and I'd go thru 2 tanks a week. Thats not including my weekends if I decide to go do C&Cs and other car shenanigans.
Pretty much my situation but I screwed the pooch in overpaying for my 4BW. I came across a 5BW that was similar to my 5BW order so I sold the 4BW for a loss in Aug at $75K (paid $82K). I jumped on the car since it was the only M6 with CF1 & 2 package on it (#111 Collectors with less than 100...
Quick look around NJ and found this...bike shop who deals with CF would be your cheapest option vs going to a body shop.
