Just spent the last 15 minutes on Cadillac chat asking why my car, built on May 13th has not shipped. Received a lot of bullshit "canned" responses. The best one was when the advisor told me they are testing the car. I asked her what were they testing it for and she never answered.
What does a color change wrap cost?
If you went this route, are you able to see the original paint color underneath along the edges of the door, trunk lid, hood, etc?
Having never even heard of getting the entire windshield tinted will take your word for it. I have a difficult time as it is when driving in the dark. Why in the world spend money to make it worse?
Weird for sure. Gave my dealer a call and left a voicemail so waiting to hear back.
PS: Dealer says they have no further information. The car is either waiting for a chip or a transport. He did mention the paint on the Blackwings they have received looked great, so fingers crossed.
If GM was that concerned then they would honor their written statement these defects were covered by warranty and they (GM) would pay for the paint correction.
Think I have owned 7 or 8 different Honda's in my life since 1980. I have never taken one back to the dealers for warranty work other than one check engine light

That may make sense if you are buying a car off the lot that you can inspect before buying it. Not for a order that many wait months or even a year or more for the car to be delivered and you ordered it sight unseen.
