Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

I heard that they started making them pink in an attempt to get the manly bro's buying them to finally take them off... and it still didn't work.

    Is this a shipping block?!

This. Ironically more likely to stall if I'm trying to be gentle.

    Is this a shipping block?!

I wasn't concerned about it, it was just kind of an obvious fail. I've actually stalled it myself a couple of times, and ground 1st gear once for at least some reason. I attribute it to getting acclimated to the car. I learned to drive stick on a 2000 Mustang V6 Convertible. I bought the car...

    Carbon fiber PN database.

Which morally bankrupt entrepreneur among us going to buy up ALL the Carbon Fiber and resell for big profit$?

    Is this a shipping block?!

Update: got the shipping blocks removed. Kid then drove my car out of the service bay and promptly stalled the car right in front of me, smh... On the plus side, the squeaking is gone and the front suspension doesn't feel so much like an oxcart now.

    Sold My Lease to ALGO

They do! Go on their website and get a quote (Sell Your Car | ALGO) and then they'll text and call and email and bother you to get in touch. It's annoying but temporary, since I got a quote from them some months back and didn't sell at the time since the new car hadn't come in yet

    Is this a shipping block?!

I'll double check but I didn't see anything in the trunk other than the license plate bracket...

    Is this a shipping block?!

Anything else I should see if they didn't do when I go in to get them removed? I'd just do it myself but I lent my jack to a flakey friend who doesn't answer the phone...

    Is this a shipping block?!

I just drove to pick my son up from daycare in the rain and the car starting squeaking over bumps something terrible. Once I deposited the child at home, I went back to glance into the wheel well and saw this in the front. I can't see the shocks in the back, but is this a shipping block?

    Sold My Lease to ALGO

I didn't think so either but apparently ALGO was okay with it. We had to have a 3-way (call) with Genesis Financial so they could get the dealer buyout without tax but that seemed to be about it. Residual without buying was 25.5 and they gave me 37. Crazy times...

    Carbon fiber PN database.

I googled the part number and the first website said they were selling it for $730. That's steep but honestly not as bad as I would have thought. In any event, I have no CF to destroy and I'm okay with that.

    Sold My Lease to ALGO

Not sponsored post or anything, but since the BW came in this weekend I just sold my leased Genesis to ALGO, which among with Carvana, Vroom etc. is one of those online outfits that buys cars. I had to send some documents and pictures, sign some forms, and then a dude showed up at my house to...

CT5-V What don't you like about your CT5-V Blackwing?

Update now that I have the car. Even with my soft, Lilliputian lawyer's hands, I'm not finding the distance to the stalk to be that big of a deal. I'm still getting used to some of the ergonomics, and it doesn't help that I'm coming from a Genesis. IMHO, Hyundai really has some of the best...

PSA: Setting Expectations - Condition of your paint may disappoint you, but a paint correction/ceramic coat and a good detailer will fix your problem.

Good to know! If it wasn't going to the detailer anyway I'd grab a foam pad and a drop of compound right now and try it myself.

    Protecting my bumper?

When faced with a steep enough driveway, no angle will change the laws of physics.

PSA: Setting Expectations - Condition of your paint may disappoint you, but a paint correction/ceramic coat and a good detailer will fix your problem.

As far as I know mine didn't sit outside very long. The paint does have some fine scratches but I would chalk it up to the dealer washing it, and I would polish them out if I wasn't going in for PPF and ceramic since the detailer will do it for me. As far as imperfections, there is one cloudy...

    Protecting my bumper?

I bought the one I linked above. Going to sand down the rough part and spritz it with some gloss black paint, which should be a passable fix for my purposes, and hope those things work. I'm getting the car PPF'd in a couple weeks so I wanted it to be resolved before then
