Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

That's fine but no way I am risking the ps4s in 20 deg weather for 3 months here in NY. This is my DD, I actually drove it on 30 deg weather here once and it didn't feel good at all.

Decision Time, wouldn't mind the wisdom of the crowd

I thought warranty on these were 4yr/50,000 miles basic and 6 yr/70,000 miles powertrain

Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

Yes I have used snow ice mode a couple of times..felt like the car lost 300 HP 😂. However the PTM + wet mode is for wet track driving.

Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

The ps4s get rock hard under 40 deg F and could crack. I thought sport + PTM wet mode was for track use when wet.

Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

Same square setup as @dribs15 from tire rack. I am in NY (LI) and this is my 3rd winter with this setup....no issues at all. It's pretty tight in the rear (paper thin space between the spokes and the calipers), but I did not want to do spacers. Specs on the wheels are 19 x 9 with 29 mm offset...

Dealer finally fixed driver window noise. 11.5 hours of labor. 6 weeks in the shop. 120 road test miles.

Wow great that this dealer came though! Was this the buzzing sound that people are heating at 55 to 60 mph?

5BW Rear wheel liner missing screws?

My 22 BW was missing those screws on the rear fender liner. I checked with @jwolf99 and his 22 had the screws. I had the dealer install new screws.

    Who needs coffee?

I have exactly that square setup from tire rack on my Shadow 5VBW. It's real tight in the rear...clears the rear calipers by a hair.

CT5-V Blackwing 6-sp (2022) surging during normal driving

I had my surging issue "fixed" under the TSB like was mentioned earlier in this thread....just as an update it does not happen as often as it used to but it still happens occasionally unfortunately. I also noticed that when cold and driving at parking lot speeds under 2k rpm the car does not...

    Advice for prospective buyer

Depends on which 911...if it's a GT3 then yes it can be a punishing daily (you wouldn't use that as a daily anyway), however the newer 911s have ride settings on the PASM that can be set in comfort mode for daily driving. I have an older 997.2 Turbo S and it's not bad at all in comfort mode (I...

    Media dumps

BMW underated that M4 massively....that's not a 170 HP difference....M4s have dynoed 517 to 525 at the wheels stock

CT5-V GM / Delco Filter Part Numbers

Thanks for posting this....I wish I had seen this before. I got Mobil 1 supercar oil from Walmart for $9.87 per quart and I also got a filter for $6.04 but the part number was 25206966. I ended up returning it thinking it was the wrong one without realizing that was the updated part number. The...

Sorry to hear and glad it wasn't worse. My CF lip was damaged in a similar situation
