Whatever the hold is, is likely more the issue. Finding out the reason for the hold might be difficult. I believe holds come from GM and not the shipping partner.

The camera mirror is obviously not for everyone, but my brain, eyesight condition, glasses prescription and age don't get in the way of me using it pretty much 100% of the time. :) I don't need some doctor, dude or columnist telling me my perception is wrong for me.

I find that the rear view camera mirror on a wide setting helps with a car that is approaching the blind spot. I still turn and glance even with the BSM.

Based on what you have already said, the turning radius on the 5 is definitely going to bother you in low speed, tight situations (u-turns, parking lots). Tight turns on the road, it's fine.

I change my own oil and log it on my own spreadsheet, but also on the GM owners website under service history. You can also see all dealer service records there. The OLM will prompt you to change the oil at least once a year regardless of mileage.
