No one should ever use K&n on any motor they care about. They flow better bc they do a poor job of doing what an air filters main job is which is filtering air. On this engine you’d likely see little to zero difference in power and certainly not a noticeable one...
First time they didn’t give me one. Second time a XT5. Third time they said they only had an Equinox but if I’d wait for them to wash their Escalade I could have that. Told them I’d wait. The Escalade battery then failed on me and wouldn’t start after sitting 1 day. They’re suppose to be sending...
I got black flagged at the track bc there was white smoke coming from the car due to oil hitting and burning on the exhaust. That’s how I first found out. I was like wtf this is a new car how can there be smoke coming from it?!
The oil is EVERYWHERE. Entire underside of the car is covered...
So maybe put me down as the next one with engine issues. Car is now at dealer for the third time for a fierce oil leak. First they replaced cam sensor then oil pan bolt. Still leaking remained. Apparently it is producing way too much pressure. Dealer has already gotten GM involved & a conference...

at most dealers the oil tech is the most entry level and inexperienced person there. given that this was to fix a leak I didn't even get that bottom of the barrel tech and they still didn't know what was correct. this is a dealer that also services chevy, so i'm gonna guess they've probably been...
nice add to the discussion. the big thing is whether or not it says DEXOS 2 anywhere on it if you don't want to try and memorize which image = okay and which = not okay
b/c they offer no benefit on steels. they just clog up with pad deposits and then you have less braking surface area. if you watch a lot of the reviews on the media drop thread you'll also get the same info soundman414 just said in that flat rotors offer better NVH, which is generally what you...
If you take the dealer up on a free oil change or are just having them change the oil and paying them for it MAKE SURE THEY USE THE CORRECT OIL! The WRONG oil part number is 88862479. This is for the dirt cheap EURO blend 0w-40 mobile 1. This oil is NOT dexos2 approved and is not a recommend oil...
Don't use another oil. this is currently the ONLY oil that is available and approved by GM to use in the LT4. It was essentially a co engineering effort between GM and Mobil to make this specific oil for the corvette motors. again, do not use something else.
the surround vision is standard on the blackwing and you don't have to get the parking package to have it. the parking package on the blackwing is just the 3 items you listed and that's it.
