So I finally got around to test driving a ct5 v blackwing. It’s been on my mind to upgrade since forever and with prices going down a little I am contemplating a used one at some point.
The car just feels like a 1.2x ct4 so that’s great handling wise etc. but my biggest disappointment was the...
Have happily sold at least 6 cars to carvana. Will never buy from them.
They don't check a thing on cars which look new-ish and don't have any obvious imperfections.
I agree. Even things like the first gen model 3, model S etc might become valuable one day. The original tesla roadster already is a collectible, its only natural other cars of that vein follow the same trajectory.
PS- this is the kind of insight you would expect from Doug, not that a GR...
I highly highly doubt that.
Most of his insights are insights you and I can come up with. For example is there 1 car on the list you wouldn't have thought of as future classics/collectibles? The omissions are actually glaring and actually show the lack of insight in his videos based on his day...
It’s Doug so I take his lists now a days with a pinch of salt. But he missed a few obvious ones- the ct4 v blackwing. It’s all the same reasons as the m2/m3 and is actually better to drive. Also bonus points for not selling well and being rare.
He also missed the z4 manual, the 718s esp the...
Thanks! That looks great. What I wanted to check is if there's any issue pairing ET31 front and ET35 rear. Because I don't see that combination in their fitment guide. I see ET31 used as fronts and ET35 used as rears but not together.
PS- Which hub spacers did you wind up getting for fronts?
@Apex Wheels
For the CT4-v blackwing can I use a
18x9" ET31 front
18x9.5" ET35 rear
EC-7
with stock tires?
I don't see this in the fitment guide but I see a mix and match of these wheels in the fitment guide.
And can I use these sizes without any major issues?
This almost reads like a r/cars fever dream.
The Mach 4 is not going to start under 50k. Ford right now is not really known for undercutting non existent competition. They will look at precisely what you said - the cheapest manual v8 sedan is 100k so this will be priced accordingly.
My bet is...
