Awesome come up man. Swap the ‘22 for the ‘24… that’s a smooth move. Keep up the good work, and hopefully your experience can encourage other Canooks to be patient for a BW.
Just spoke with one of the salesmen I was dealing with. He said they would credit me the dough and that I can toss the thing in the bin.
Gonna use the credit towards buying the blacked out badges and the bronze wheel hubs to go with the bronze wheels that should arrive in a few weeks here.
That’s kinda what I was thinking. Black looks good with any color…. Especially silver though. Silver and Black are great colors (as a biased Raiders fan 🤦🏽♂️)
I’m not sure if it’s super low profile or not, I’ll let you know once I install it… but the one recommended to me by a few from this forum was the Viofo A129 Duo Pro.
There’s so many options for dash cams that it makes it difficult to know which option to go with. 🤷🏽♂️
That shit looks cool man.
My brother in law has a 3D printer and a laser etcher. You just gave me the idea of making something one of a kind to replace the emblems with if possible. Good lookin out!
I thought about getting one of those too. Again, it’s just deterrent as the thief could remove it, but any steps to make it harder for somebody to steal is a good idea.
I do wonder if it’s overkill and I’m just being paranoid. Maybe I should ask the people that are following me around trying...
Glad the plug didn’t uncork on you beforehand! Did you get the dealership to acknowledge fault for the scratches at least? I’d be pretty unhappy if that happened. I saw a video posted of a guys PDR recording the tech at the dealership scraping the shit out of his CF splitter. I immediately...
Dope! You’re a blessed man. I honestly don’t care if my wife drives my car. I just bought her a Hyundai Tucson Plug in Hybrid… so she should be good. 😉
Those do look good no doubt. Are they metal or plastic? I have a $300 credit with Caddy which would cover the OEM black emblems, but 404 would save me a few bucks.
This forum has been soooooo helpful as a new owner. I made sure they checked the plug when the car came in, and sure enough it wasn’t completely inset. V-net and Rob for the win!🏆🥇🙏🏽
The manual says to check the oil at every fill up. Has anyone experienced burning through oil fast enough that this was necessary in the first 1500? I plan to get oil changed at 500, then again at 1500, and go standard from then on. Should I be carrying around a quart or two just to be safe in...
Word. The hope is that seeing it will let them know it will require more effort on their part than another. Combine that with the dash cam, the OBD block, and the alarm, and hopefully it’s enough deterrent to make em pass it up. I mean even the best alarm/tech is just deterrent. 🤷🏽♂️
Gonna be an easy sell then. It might make it a little harder to coordinate dates with her work schedule, but maybe not. They’re sending me available dates on Friday.
