I’m having my ct5 wrapped in Kavaca PPF Ceramic Pro and tint. Apparently it’s the best of both worlds. The research I did made it seem like this would work great for me as a daily driver on mountain roads and in the Bay Area. Just gotta make sure it’s applied by an “elite” shop. What I read is...
Whole heartedly agreed. I like in California, and I’d still rather have the window down with my arm on the sill than having the sunroof open and sun on my head.
If it were the real deal panoramic and it opened all the way up, shit yeah… that’s basically a convertible. I’ve had a convertible...
I ordered a set of Nitto Invo tires to use as all seasons. It gets cold where I spend half my time up in the Sierra Nevadas. I’ve woken up to snow on the ground in August even.
I’ve also been told that the Nitto NT555 is a great tire that grips like a mofo… but I’ve never used em personally.
pretty sure there’s one like that in Beverly Hills. But you may have to order it, which could then take a long time for you to actually see. I guess it depends on how patient you are. I’ve read horror stories of guys whose order was taken but not filled.
I had thought I wanted the sunroof...
The one I found is Typhoon Metallic with tan interior, parking package, bronze calipers, manual transmission with no sunroof. The only thing missing was the bronze wheels… so I’m having some made that come in next month.
I was able to find the exact one I would’ve built out (minus the wheels). It only took me about a year of scavenging. The dealership I bought from actually has two more coming in. The one I got was because the dude that ordered it wanted the sunroof package…. So he ordered a second one after...
I know the dealership would appreciate it. One of the salesmen wants me to throw his number on here… not sure how I feel about that. I think I’ll just say that Nick was my favorite of the three guys I dealt with, and Samaj was cool but young/inexperienced.
The dealership I bought from just rang me up to see if I know anyone looking for a 5BW. I said I’d throw the line out there on the forums.
It’s automatic transmission, black with the tan interior. I’m not sure what other packages it has. They told me but I suffer from C.R.S. (Can’t Remember...
Different strokes my dude.
I held out because I like the front fascia refresh for the ‘25. The entire touch screen thing is gonna give me fits though. I’ve actually never owned a brand new vehicle before, and none of my past vehicles had a touch screen.
So did you trade in the ‘22 or keep em both?
As an update: I’m fuckin IN! I got the email for the new dates today, and a spot opened up for the Academy. It’s with the MT too! If any of y’all are gonna be there for the second August sessions, I’ll see ya there!
So my Texan A-hole friend, you own multiple BWs at the same time, and Vettes too?! Good on you brother!
I mean shit, if you’ve got the bread like that then I guess why not? I can totally understand trading one in for another of course if the refresh grabs yer goat, but having multiples of the...
The ct4 has different tire specs than the ct5 right? I’d buy em off you in a heartbeat if they fit my car man. I scoured the net looking for those in OEM CT5BW size and they don’t exist…. At least not in a place I was able to find. 😪😭
That little bit of color pops man. It’s a direct contrast with the silver/black. Not sure how it’ll look on the typhoon metallic. It’s food for thought…
Unless maybe the manual for the BW is different than the 5-V… I read my BW manual front to back twice before I picked it up, and now that she’s in the detailer getting all dressed up real pretty I’ve read the paper one (that has basically just the bare minimum any car owner with common sense...
I’d double check that my dude. I know I read about it somewhere that those were only to be attached for track use, NOT for street driving. I can’t recall what page, but it’s in your digital manual. Better safe than sorry!
