I’ll take a look. I’m guessing I’ll find it when I put my OBD blocker in. Hopefully they’ll take it back and refund me. Especially since the Ikon website says certain steps have to be taken within 24 hours for certain stipulations to be in effect. The dealership never said shit about that, and...
The dealer ship swindled me into it pretty much. I think it was like $300. They said their GM insisted it be on all vehicles. Ikon also pays for rental car while car is gone, and if the car isn’t found they put some money towards replacing it. That’d be helpful I guess. I am gonna go back next...
That’s cool. I’ve been looking for this specific color, with this specific interior, and a MT ever since the 2025 were on order. I didn’t order one myself, but kept my eye out every day. It does not exist. I finally got lucky and found the exact car/package I wanted (minus the bronze wheels, so...
Exactly. Which is why it’s so strange. I called it directly from their website. 🤷🏽♂️
I’m gonna try calling their 775 number tomorrow. I’m guessing I’ll have better luck.
I picked up my BW today, and it’s fitted with the Ikon anti-theft device (a new age low jack basically). I downloaded the app, but can’t seem to figure out how to register my car. Their website says that for certain guarantees, the App has to be downloaded within 24 hours of purchase. The...
Hey all, I could use some help. I finally got my ‘25 CT5 BW today. When I asked about the V-Performance Academy the salesman had no idea what I was talking about, and the owner of the dealership said I had to sign up via the Cadillac website. I don’t see anywhere on the site to do any such...
Didn’t have the dealership wash it or anything… the PPF shop owner said he’s seen dealerships just wreck a brand new paint job with improper washing (either running it through a machine or a quick once over out back). I can’t wait to see what it looks like once it’s finished next week.
I picked it up from the dealership and drove it for about forty minutes before dropping it off to have it coated in Kavaca Ceramic Pro PPF. It is pretty hard to part from it immediately after finally getting key/ownership of it, but I know it’s for the best. They’re gonna buff out the paint to...
Congrats man. Hopefully you don’t have to wait as long as some folks have. I got lucky and had a come up from someone else changing their mind about their order after the car was already in production. It’s been in transit for the last month plus, and it finally arrived on Friday. I go to pick...
The fact that they’re making a 2026 almost makes me wish I’d held off until they’re taking orders to get a BW. I’m sure they’ll add the ‘standard’ parking package to the MSRP, but if it’s true that it’s going to be 700HP then it’d almost be worth the wait.
I’m not buying it as an investment...
It will have all of the info in the manual, but here is what I have read here that people shared.
Like you I am going to use it as my daily as often as possible, so I want it to be able to last for the long haul. I’ve seen plenty of videos of guys going balls to the wall at 500 miles because...
Damn man. I’d be wary of it being sold so soon after. The break in period for the BW is 1500 miles, so I’d be worried they drove it hard and put it away wet. I’d hate to spend that much dough on a car that’s gonna have issues down the road due to poor engine break-in.
