Long term review of the 4BW

I, too, am sorely disappointed by the lack of shiatsu technique from the massaging seats, and despite the seat warmers, they hardly achieve the level of nirvana provided by hot stones. Do better, Cadillac. Despite all this, every time I drive the car, I do still exit with a wide smile on my...

CT4-V 4BW AC line rubbing on condenser pulley

Thanks for posting this. I went and checked mine and I have ~1/4" clearance between mine, but you're right, that does seem strangely close. I may add a zip tie in there to try and pull it away a bit next time I'm getting my hands dirty.

    Cheap "Mod" Upper Trunk Liner

To clarify: only for the one @BKC1 posted. You can order just for for the one @1BadTundra linked above. It also has one for the CT5.

    Cheap "Mod" Upper Trunk Liner

F*cking brilliant. @1BadTundra wins again. This has always slightly irked me that GM didn't put one of these in a Cadillac-price point level car. Thanks!!! Already ordered.

    CT4 BW brake question

I would guess it's an electrical failure of the sensor itself, not that it's actually prematurely worn by dragging on the rotor.

    CT4 BW brake question

That would be unusually low mileage for brake pads to fail. I suspect one of the sensors has gone more so than the pads. Oddly enough, the sensors are a maintenance item and are supposed to be replaced when you change the pads anyway. In normal operation, when the pads have worn down far...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

You're going to be super happy with this move. I've been running the Powerstops for about 6 months and I'm thrilled with how much lower the dust is.

    CT4 turbos..

Weird. I thought I read somewhere that it was new for the Blackwing. My mistake! Definitely not arguing with the expert! :wtcslap

    CT4 turbos..

    I don't think the ATS-V's have no-lift shifting...

    CT4 turbos..

I thought the blow-off/wastegate had some electronic wizardry in it that enabled the No-lift Shifting... Does it still work properly on your car?

Watch the TPC code for replacement tires

Stellar write-up from someone with legit experience. Someone mark this as one of the forum gold nuggets! Or perhaps cross-post it in the track section of the forum?

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Ooooof... I was really hoping to see some more pictures of these to see if I would spring for a set, but I'm glad I held out. Not for me. Thanks for sharing!

    Anyone else get this notification?

I got one too and checked my pressures this morning and they were all fine.

    LED Side Markers

Great work! I love DIY projects like this. But while you're at it, why not make them switchback LEDs that are synced to the headlight indicators? [Kidding... I know that's massive scope creep and a total PITA, but one can dream, right? Lol!]

My 4BW was backed into. Sucky day

You could probably triage that decently well while you wait for the repair... Go ahead and replace the grill (insurance paid for, of course), maybe do some backyard straightening of the front edge of the hood and some good buffing compound... The crack in the bumper may pop back into place and...

CT4V BW - Tapout Blue Belt Build - HP TUNERS - EASY PEASY

Gotta love Tapout... They think of everything!

CT4V BW - Tapout Blue Belt Build - HP TUNERS - EASY PEASY

Just curious... why is only one side wrapped? Not saying you did anything wrong, just genuinely intrigued.

    To Debadge or no?

Has anyone found any monochrome V-badges that match the OEM monochrome crests?

Question, am I the only one who.....???

Am I the only one who cringes at the clickbait-y title to this thread?
