I posted this once before, but the fact that the turn signal lamp, the gauge cluster indicator, and the blinker sound all operate at different tempos is wreaking havoc on my OCD.
Fwiw, don't ever turn on your turn signal and watch the two lights and listen to the sound at the same time. You'll...
When you're ready to do away with the stock box/can, let me know. I'm curious to do some exploratory surgery on one to see if there's a "middle-of-the-road" approach here through modifying the internals.
This is fantastic information!
By chance can you confirm the part numbers for the Powerstop pads you got? Also, are there any side effects (error lights, etc.) by zip tying the sensor out of the way?
I sooooo want to do this.
Did you check to make sure the towing/shipping blocks were pulled out of the front springs?
My dealer left mine in and it created a suspension noise. Not entirely like what you're hearing, but it's an easy check. Should be readily apparent with a flashlight. No need to remove the wheels...
Looks great! As a fellow SS owner though, I gotta say: those orange signals need to get blacked out. Especially if you've got the monochrome badges too.
Cheers for an awesome crew! I got to meet the team a few months back when I was visiting Ohio. If I were closer, I definitely know where I'd be drinking today!
Adding features into the infotainment isn't as simple as flipping a few switches on an OBDII-connected laptop and making it show up. All of the software updates that are done are encrypted and likely have hash checks to prevent people from doing exactly what you're talking about. In the off...
Virtually impossible.
Your biggest constraint is the software in the infotainment display. The CT4V doesn't support it.
Supercruise is even harder.
The wheels could work though, so at least there's that.
Just curious... Check out this thread starting at post #16. Wondering if it's the same thing that was described there.

Not sure if you're feeling the same thing, but a number of us notice an idiosyncrasy when turning...
This seems like a pretty 'brute force' approach to changing the exhaust sound.
I don't imagine too many people with $100k 'exotic' sedans are excited to basically sawzall off their multi-functional exhaust and replace it with a less capable component. Sure, the sound is louder, but I just...
