Ordered this end of last year ahead of its release. Look forward to reading, especially about the older V cars. Almost 400 pages, great photos and high quality printing.
Should we set up odds on which resident ahole ruins this thread now??
I thought of making a similar post but skipped. You would hope people on a Cadillac forum can simply enjoy the photo and appreciate how baddass all the Caddies look! Thanks, RD, cool image in my book.
Exactly what I was saying. So it is fair to assume 2000+ 2024s were produced. Double the "whispers and rumors". Which also makes sense that they did not decrease production compared to 2022. And Cadillac had a very strong 2024. No way they only made 1000 CT5-V Blackwings.
The 1000 units per year "whisper" seems highly inaccurate. As quickag posted above, there an auto and possibly a manual for every number. I saw VINs on Cadillac's website for 2024s that ran into the 900s, so maybe 1600-1800 total +/- if manuals are a bit less than half of autos.
There is also...
Ahhh. Your signature earlier today had said "25 4 BW" so I thought you sold your old one, wanted a 5, and then bought another 4. Made no sense at all if the powertrain did not inspire you!
You had messaged me "cpo 5bw is the way to go for me. 4bw drivetrain was sooooo boring" back when you said you were going to Pepe to check out my Black Diamond Tricoat 5 before they shipped it to me. That is why I was surprised to see a 2025 4 Blackwing in your signature.
What happened to "cpo 5bw is the way to go for me. 4bw drivetrain was sooooo boring"
🤣🤣
What color is the 4 you bought? Is anything different on the new one versus the one you sold?
I knew about from many years ago. When I bought my 2022, of course it was not available. I really liked my Rift color, but when BDT was announced for 2024, I had to go for it. It is definitely not for everyone, but it really strikes a chord with my tastes.
Regardless, those stickers are a deal breaker 🫣
Nice of the dealer to put their massive CAPITAL emblem in perhaps the worst spot possible. I'm guessing they don't sell many "150k car!"s if they think any buyer would accept that garbage.
The one at Dellenbach in Fort Collins has been there a looooong time, many months for sure. I was tempted to drive and see it for fun before corralling my Black Diamond Tricoat from NY. It is a very colorful build, and will need a buyer who likes that. Looks like the discount is advertised...
PPF now, but tell them they can skip the front splitter and rear spoiler if it saves you a full bucks. Skip the plastic side rails and rear diffuser too.
Overall, as a reminder, at the same time, as noted above.... you are, in any case, 100% correct. Meanwhile, it's worth noting, in case you forgot, that GMA is often, nevertheless, incorrect :ROFLMAO:
Me neither. I was simply reporting I have driven the tires at 30 degrees on the track and they were fine. Again, smooth surface without ruts and potholes.
I am in no way arguing, but when I first attended Spring Mountain for CT4-V Blackwing, our second day started at 30 degrees F. Tire pressures were in the mid 20s on the cars. And we were lapping them. I asked one of the instructors about driving below 40 degrees and was told "don't worry"...
