Not every respect, Don. Driver enjoyment / engagement is a massive win for the manual that trumps all the wins for the automatic put together. At least for most of us who had to have a Blackwing.

This is exactly the point! Drive the Blackwing for pleasure. Invest elsewhere for earning money. Most importantly, you are OK. None of this other stuff truly matters, at least in my view. God Bless 🙏

It is deflating when 22s are failing with plenty of miles on them. I would think such a catastrophic failure would happen earlier. I'm not quite a year in on my 24 BDT. 4200 flawless, highly enjoyable miles. Will I be utterly distraught if my LT4 fails? That depends on if the replacements...

Sorry to read this. It seems these failures are a variety of different things. Please keep us posted on the specific problem. My first thought was maybe that drain plug blew out that has been problematic on 25s, amd you lost all the oil. But I don't recall that happening on 22s.

Coastal Blue with bronze wheels gets my vote too. Did you ever actually own the electric blue? I thought you walked from that one before buying it. Killer spec, I do remember that!

I do suspect there is an issue. If there is one thing I would rave about in all my GM vehicles, cars and trucks, it is the A/C. Seat coolers, meh, not as good, but the A/C has always been great.

I'm not sure how I feel about these OTA updates anyways. I deny them in my truck. Everything works fine, and often these updates screw something else up, and then you have to wait for a fix. Does the update you are trying to load address anything specific you are interested in?

I have read the next refresh on the truck lines is dropping the google based system. That will be a very short lived iteration if so. I have been in a Super Duty truck for about 14 months. Decided to try something different. I would go back to my trusted GM as they look so much better, but...

I'm afraid these are growing pains for the new system in the 25s. When the refreshed XT4 got the new dash / wide screen and system, I was advised by a Cadillac dealer to "wait until the bugs are worked out". The Google system in the current trucks is not exactly reliable either.
